New case finishes and elegant dial hues
Junghans has been synonymous with precision and innovation since its founding in 1861. In the 1930s, the German brand manufactured control panel instruments for airplanes and airships, and in the 1950s, it created a legendary pilot chronograph for the German Armed Forces. This legacy lives on in Junghans' "Pilot" watch collection, which remains a symbol of robust craftsmanship and reliability. Now, Junghans introduces two new automatic chronographs to this lineup, featuring eye-catching dials in gray and green.
The watches feature a stainless steel case, available in either polished or brushed finishes, with a bidirectional rotating bezel marked by a 60-minute scale. Measuring 43.3mm in diameter and 14.4mm in height, the case is equipped with pushers at the 2 and 4 o'clock positions. A domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a solid caseback ensures water resistance up to 100 meters.
The polished case is paired with a gray dial, while the brushed case features a green dial. Both dials showcase a small seconds sub-dial at 3 o'clock and a 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock, providing a balanced chronograph layout. The gray dial is complemented by beige lume and Arabic numerals, while the green dial is accented with white lume.

The watch is powered by the calibre J880.1, a movement based on the reliable ETA Valjoux 7750, operating at 28,800 vph (4Hz) with a 42-hour power reserve. The green dial variant comes with a matching green leather strap, while the gray dial version is paired with a brown leather strap, both secured by a steel pin buckle. Priced at EUR 2,590 / AED 10,700 for the gray dial and EUR 2,490 / AED 10,300 for the green dial.
