Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
Exceptional S1 Titanium editions embody Seddiqi’s enduring connection to Dubai
HYT Watches and Ahmed Seddiqi unite to create three exceptional unique pieces that celebrate 75 years of horological excellence and enduring passion. The S1 75th Anniversary Bespoke Edition timepieces showcase HYT’s unparalleled hydromechanical expertise and authentic technical innovation, with each crown elegantly engraved with “7S.” This exclusive trilogy embodies the philosophy of Ahmed Seddiqi: “Watches are more than just a business for us; they are a passion, a way of life, and an essential part of who we are as a family.” Abdul Hamied Ahmed Seddiqi.
The three distinctive colors Titanium Green, Titanium Blue, and Titanium Sand, tell the story of Ahmed Seddiqi’s remarkable journey and its deep-rooted connection to Dubai’s transformation, with each hue representing a key pillar of the brand’s 75-year legacy.
Each unique piece in this bespoke trilogy measures 45.30 × 17.20 mm and offers exceptional comfort thanks to carefully engineered proportions and the innovative angular positioning of the straps, ensuring stability and ease of wear. All three editions feature black-coated titanium crowns engraved with “7S” and display Eastern Arabic numerals on their hour and minute indications—a symbolic fusion of HYT’s Swiss innovation and Ahmed Seddiqi’s Middle Eastern heritage.
The openworked dial displays the passage of time through HYT’s signature fluid-filled capillary system, rendered in black across all three models. The central minute hand is complemented by a small seconds subdial positioned between 9 and 10 o’clock, and a power-reserve indicator aligned at 2 o’clock beside the crown.
Titanium Green symbolizes growth and prosperity, reflecting the oases that have long represented life and abundance in Arab culture. The S1 Seddiqi Titanium Green (1 of 1), features a highland green ceramic-coated titanium case with a black-coated crown engraved with “7S.” The retrograde fluidic hours are displayed via a black liquid inside the borosilicate glass capillary. The hour display combines black-coated brass with green appliqués, while the minute track features green-coated brass with white and red decals. The black or satin-polished hands are enhanced with white SLN for optimal readability.
Titanium Blue represents the future and infinite possibilities, echoing the deep blue of the Arabian Gulf that has long been Dubai’s gateway to the world. The S1 Seddiqi Titanium Blue (1 of 1), features a polar blue ceramic-coated titanium case with a black-coated titanium crown engraved with “7S.” The hour display combines blue-coated brass with black appliqués, while the minute display features black-coated brass with white and red decals. The black liquid flows through the borosilicate capillary, with black or satin-polished hands enhanced with white SLN to ensure exceptional readability.
Titanium Sand embodies heritage and origins, the warm sands of the Arabian Peninsula, where Ahmed Seddiqi first established his vision in 1950. The S1 Seddiqi Titanium Sand (1 of 1), stands out with its natural and black-coated bead-blasted titanium case, complemented by a black-coated titanium crown engraved with “7S.” The hour display features sand-coated brass with brown appliqués, while the minute display combines sand-coated brass with sand and red decals. The black liquid flows through the borosilicate capillary, and the black or satin-polished hands are filled with beige SLN, creating a refined desert-inspired aesthetic.
At the heart of each model beats the hand-wound calibre 501-CM, first introduced in 2012 and composed of 352 components. The movement is decorated with traditional haute horlogerie finishes, with components treated in black after being sandblasted and satin-brushed. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it delivers a 72-hour power reserve.
HYT’s revolutionary fluidic movement combines mechanical precision with poetic innovation. Time is displayed via two immiscible liquids one colored, one transparent, that move inside a borosilicate glass capillary just 0.8 mm in diameter. The boundary between them, known as the meniscus, acts as the hour indicator. The motion of the fluids is driven by twin bellows positioned at 6 o’clock, components derived from aerospace engineering, with walls thinner than a quarter of a human hair. A thermal compensator ensures consistent performance by adjusting the liquid volume according to temperature variations.
Each S1 Bespoke Edition is equipped with HYT’s quick-change strap system and includes two interchangeable options. The Green and Blue editions come with a pure black Velcro strap and a pure black rubber strap, while the Sand edition is supplied with a sand Velcro strap and a pure black rubber strap. Each strap can be paired with either a pin buckle or a loop buckle in titanium with black DLC coating, featuring satin and sand-blasted finishes. For the Dune (Sand) edition, the buckles are not DLC-coated.
Each of these S1 Bespoke Editions is a unique piece, individually numbered “1 of 1,” and available exclusively through Ahmed Seddiqi. Prices are set at CHF 66,000 (approximately AED 304,550) for the Titanium Green and Blue editions, and CHF 64,000 (approximately AED 295,300) for the Titanium Sand edition.
