A new collection in a smaller case for the first time
HYT is a distinguished Swiss watch brand acclaimed for pioneering the utilization of fluidic technology in timekeeping. At the heart of HYT's innovation lies a patented system called "microfluidic," which revolutionizes the display of time. As we saw in the Lunar Landscapes, Hastroid Blue Star, and the Hastroid In Silver Red, HYT's utilization of fluids rather than traditional hands or digital displays imparts a distinctively futuristic appearance to their watches.
As HYT commemorates its 12th anniversary, the brand unveils the T1 SERIES, a fresh collection featuring a smaller 45mm case diameter. Introducing a new design accompanied by a new color spectrum that encapsulates the spirit of the times with four new references.
The T1 SERIES collection introduces two case options, one crafted from titanium and the other combining titanium with gold. The titanium case offers dial choices of salmon, anthracite, and silver, whereas the sophisticated gold and DLC titanium case adorns the midnight blue dial. All with a new diameter measuring 45mm, which as HYT mentioned in the press release “ opens a new chapter for the brand”. Each timepiece in the new collection boasts a thickness of 17.20 mm and is coated with black DLC coating. Additionally, it is equipped with a sapphire crystal featuring anti-reflective coating to protect the dial.

The brass dials feature a rhodium plated power reserve hand positioned between 2 and 3 o'clock. The time display system operates through the actuation of two highly flexible and durable bellows. As one reservoir, containing the tinted aqueous liquid, expands, the other is compressed, and vice versa, facilitating the movement of fluids through the capillary.
This mechanism signifies the passage of hours by 'pushing' the tinted liquid, resulting in a progressively taller column in the capillary, while 'pulling' the transparent viscous liquid causes the column to decrease proportionately. The meeting point of the two liquids, forming a half-moon-shaped meniscus, indicates the hour on the scale. Upon reaching 6 o'clock, the column of tinted liquid retrogrades to its initial position. As for the minutes it is indicated by a rhodium plated and polished central hand filled with white Super-LumiNova.
The timepieces are powered by the 501-CM caliber, a manual winding movement that operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and offers 72 hours of power reserve. The movement includes a combination of brushed and sand-blasted finishes, adding to their overall aesthetic appeal and attention to detail.

The watches are paired with a black rubber strap, featuring either a titanium or 5N gold pin buckle. The titanium variants are priced at CHF 48,000, equivalent to AED 196,000, while the gold variant is priced at CHF 64,000, equivalent to AED 261,000.
