Honoring the Swiss City's Heritage and Its Iconic Chapel Bridge
Hublot introduces a new timepiece to its distinguished Classic Fusion collection: the Classic Fusion Chronograph Boutique Lucerne, a watch inspired by Lucerne’s treasured Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge). This exclusive timepiece, available only at Hublot Boutiques in Switzerland, captures the essence of Lucerne’s cultural legacy, celebrating one of the country’s most cherished historical landmarks through a fusion of artistry and Swiss heritage.
The Chapel Bridge, dating back to the 14th century, is the oldest covered wooden bridge in Europe and a lasting symbol of Lucerne’s history. Known for its unique triangular paintings and wooden architecture, the bridge has long inspired stories of love and resilience, representing the city’s cultural and artistic heritage. Holding a special place in Swiss hearts, it became a poignant symbol of loss and rebirth after the devastating fire of August 1993. With this timepiece, launching on Valentine’s Day, Hublot expresses its love for Lucerne.
The watch’s 45mm brushed titanium case is complemented by a brushed blackened-aged titanium bezel, secured with Hublot’s signature six H-shaped screws. The case has a thickness of 13.4mm. The titanium used in the watch undergoes a special treatment to achieve its blackened-aged design.

Adding to its allure, the titanium case back is engraved with “Special Edition Lucerne Boutique” and features intricate printed drawings on the crystal sapphire of the Chapel Bridge.
The Classic Fusion Chronograph Boutique Lucerne’s dial showcases a captivating wood marquetry motif, carefully inlaid on a carbon plate to echo the intricate wooden structure of the Chapel Bridge. Remarkably, the wood for this marquetry is sourced directly from the burned remains of the bridge, ensuring each piece carries a true fragment of Lucerne’s cultural heritage.
Rhodium-plated applied indices and hands add a touch of elegance, while the date window at 6 o’clock features a black background for enhanced readability. The small seconds subdial is positioned at 3 o’clock, while the 30-minute counter sits at 9 o’clock.
Powering the watch is the automatic caliber HUB1143, based on the ETA 2892-A2. This latest-generation chronograph movement from Hublot has been widely used across the brand’s collection and was recently featured in special editions for the Argentina national team and the UAE special edition. It beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve.
Completing the piece, a vintage-inspired brown leather strap. The watch is available exclusively at Hublot Boutiques in Lucerne, Zurich, Zermatt, and Geneva, priced at CHF 15,900, equivalent to AED 64,800.
