Introducing Hublot Announces Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green Saxem

Crystal dial and distinctive green case crafted from innovative materials

At the heart of the Big Bang collection lies a constant pursuit of material innovation and craftsmanship. Hublot has consistently been at the forefront of experimenting with unique materials, which has led to the development of truly exceptional timepieces. The brand’s Metallurgy & Materials laboratory has enabled Hublot to master the use of transparent materials such as sapphire crystal, and their constant drive to push boundaries has led to introduction of the exceptional “Big Bang Unico Green SAXEM” last year, a timepiece that showcased the brand's mastery of the groundbreaking SAXEM material. SAXEM, a unique combination of sapphire and rare earth elements, brought with it a new level of brilliance possibilities never before seen in watchmaking. Now, Hublot continues to push the boundaries of craftsmanship and design by unveiling the latest addition to the Big Bang collection, the "Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM", In a case made of the same innovative material.

The watch features a case crafted from SAXEM, a revolutionary material composed of aluminum oxide, sapphire crystal, and rare earth minerals. This unique blend allows the case to shine with a vibrant emerald-green hue, offering a stunning visual depth. The case measures 44mm in diameter and 14.4mm in thickness. It is polished to a high shine, with a SAXEM polished bezel secured by six H-shaped titanium screws. The watch is protected by sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment on both the front and back, ensuring clarity and durability. Additionally, the case offers 30-meter water resistance.

The watch features a smoked black sapphire crystal dial that offers a stunning view of the watch's intricate movement components. The skeletonized dial showcases the mechanical beauty within, with the tourbillon prominently displayed at 6 o'clock. Due to the skeletal design, the dial is dark, enhanced by grey Arabic numerals and a smoky grey sapphire disk, creating a unique and sophisticated look. At 12 o'clock, the micro-rotor is clearly visible, adding to the dynamic movement of the timepiece. For enhanced legibility, the hands, numerals, and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring visibility even in low-light conditions.

The watch is powered by the HUB6035 Manufacture Automatic Tourbillon Movement, an in-house self-winding mechanism with 293 components. Operating at 21,600 vph (3Hz), it ensures precise timekeeping with a 72-hour power reserve. The movement features a micro-rotor positioned on the dial side.

It comes with a black rubber strap, an additional green strap, and a black ceramic and black-plated titanium deployant buckle. This watch is a limited edition to 18 pieces, and priced at USD 231,000 approximately AED 848,000.
