Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
Simplicity and elegance highlighted by the French maison iconic colors
At Watches & Wonders 2021, Hermès introduced the H08 for the first time, a new collection that reflects the brand’s characteristic flair for enigmatic shapes. Designed as a versatile, all-terrain timepiece, the Hermès H08 is as sporty as it is sophisticated. Like many of Hermès’ watch collections, it bears the unmistakable imprint of its designer’s hand.
Now, the French maison expands the line with two new time-only models, crafted in lightweight titanium, and offered with signature Hermès color accents and a wide range of strap options. Both models retain the original’s 39mm proportions and the distinctive cushion-shaped case.
The cushion-shaped case, crafted from lightweight titanium, measures 39mm x 39mm with a thickness of 10.6mm and a 42mm lug-to-lug span. The smooth contours of the case middle are satin-brushed, while the bezel with a varying in width and gently pinched at the waist, displays a sunray-brushed finish accented by gleaming, mirror-polished bevels. In contrast to the square bezel with rounded corners, the round, mirror-polished frame surrounding the dial is designed to catch and reflect light. A screw-down crown ensures water resistance to 100 metres.
The grey dial, echoing the titanium tones of the case, is finished with a grained texture and a nickel-treated minute track. The Arabic numerals and date aperture at 4:30 harmonize with the overall design of the case. The H08 was designed by Philippe Delhotal, Artistic Director of Hermès Horloger.

The two new references differ in bezel material, the color of the Arabic numerals and hands, and strap options. The monochrome titanium version features a titanium bezel, an orange-tipped seconds hand—an iconic Hermès touch—along with silver-coloured hands and numerals filled with white lume. The second model introduces a black ceramic bezel, numerals in Hermès Bleu Saint-Cyr (a lilac-toned blue), and hands treated with blue Super-LumiNova.
Powering the H08 is the Hermès Caliber H1837, a 3.7mm-thick movement manufactured by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, in which Hermès holds a 25% stake. The “H” in the designation stands for Hermès, while “1837” marks the year of the maison’s founding. The caliber is used across a wide range of Hermès models, including the celebrated Arceau Le Temps Suspendu. The H1837 is an automatic movement with double barrels, offering a 50-hour power reserve and Incabloc shock protection. Notably, Vaucher also produces movements for high-end brands such as Parmigiani Fleurier and Richard Mille.

The H08 titanium models can be paired with a sleek titanium bracelet featuring rounded, mirror-polished central links, or with an array of straps including orange or Bleu Abysse textured rubber, as well as blue or black textile options—all secured with titanium folding buckles. The Bleu Saint-Cyr reference comes with either a dark grey or Bleu Saint-Cyr rubber strap.
This will be a permanent addition to the collection, with prices starting from EUR 7,500 which is equivalent to AED 29,500 (titanium on bracelet), EUR 6,900 which is equivalent to AED 27,120 (titanium on strap), and EUR 7,900 which is equivalent to AED 31,000 (Bleu edition on strap).
