A new releases on the robust and anti-scratch HD12 steel
Hanhart, founded in 1882 in Tübingen, Germany, has a long history of producing watches for various needs, from professional sports watches and aviation watches, such as “Fly Navy Aerosphere”, to everyday use watches, all while upholding high-quality standards. Now, The company introduces its latest addition, "Preventor HD12" watch from the Pioneer collection.
The watch features a case made from advanced HD12 steel, which offers exceptional scratch resistance with a surface hardness of 1200 HV (Hardness Vickers), It is a unit of measurement used to measure the hardness of materials, significantly higher than the 220 HV of standard 316L steel. Furthermore, this durable material provides excellent corrosion resistance due to the PVD coating, which helps maintain the watch's intricate surface details. The case is available with a polished and brushed surface, adding to its aesthetic appeal. The watch has a diameter of 39 mm, a height of 10.50 mm, and a lug-to-lug span of 46 mm, and is water-resistant to 150 meters. Design elements include an elegant bezel, a polished screw-down crown adorned with Hanhart’s iconic “h,” a convex sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating, and a closed case back engraved with the company’s name.
