Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
The German brand celebrates its heritage, adding a modern touch to its classic watch
To fend off the dreariness of the approaching winter, Hanhart introduces two refreshing new colors to its Silva line: pastel pink and pistachio green. Both models embody clean lines, balanced proportions, and a timeless, deliberately unisex aesthetic. The name “Silva” Latin for forest, pays homage to the watch’s origin: it is manufactured in the Black Forest, in Gütenbach, where Hanhart has been synonymous with precision and craftsmanship since 1882.

The design of the new Silva draws inspiration from a 1930s Hanhart model equipped with the historic Caliber 36/39, renowned for its clarity of design. This heritage has been reinterpreted with contemporary refinements. The polished stainless steel case, convex sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating, and the screw-down sapphire caseback revealing the movement together form a seamless link between past and present—classic in spirit, modern in execution.
Combining minimalist design with unmistakable Hanhart DNA, the 38.5 mm stainless steel case, just 10 mm in height, offers perfect proportions and exceptional comfort, making it ideal for wrists of all sizes. With a water resistance of 50 meters, the Silva is robust enough for everyday wear while maintaining its refined aesthetic.

The dial is available in green or pink and is adorned with Hanhart’s historic logo. The Arabic numerals are printed in black at 12, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 o’clock, while polished silver dots mark the remaining hours. The harmonious, contemporary design is completed with a clear minute track and slim black baton-style hands.
At the heart of the Silva beats the Soprod SOP P024 automatic movement (TOP grade), known for its precision and reliability. The three-hand caliber ‘without date’, oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 38 hours. It features a Glucydur balance wheel, Incabloc shock protection, and hacking seconds for precise time setting. The skeletonized rotor, adorned with the Hanhart logo, underscores the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback.
Each movement is meticulously tested and adjusted by Hanhart’s master watchmakers in Gütenbach. The brand’s stringent accuracy standard allows for an average daily deviation between 0 and +8 seconds across six positions, ensuring that the watch never runs slow. This reflects the German dedication to punctuality, ensuring that Hanhart owners will never be late due to imprecise timekeeping. A maximum positional delta of 10 seconds is also maintained.
The Silva is available with a choice of a black or dark brown calfskin strap lined with Alcantara for maximum comfort, or a Milanese stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp for a refined, contemporary appearance. Priced at 4,900 AED.
