Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
Started in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Looking to Establish a Foothold in Haute Horlogerie
From the heart of Swiss watchmaking, the city of La Chaux-de-Fonds, a new name has emerged: H992. An unconventional name, yet one rich with symbolic meanings. The letter “H” stands for Horlogerie (watchmaking), Hour, and Humanity, while the number “992” reflects the altitude of La Chaux-de-Fonds, where the brand was founded—precisely 992 meters above sea level.
La Chaux-de-Fonds has been the birthplace of renowned watchmaking names, such as Girard-Perregaux, and a hub for others like TAG Heuer, which moved its operations to the city. The city also hosts headquarters for leading companies such as Cartier and Schwarz Etienne, alongside specialized suppliers like Sellita, one of the world’s most prominent movement manufacturers. Additionally, the area houses numerous workshops dedicated to crafting watch components, including cases, dials, hands, and more.
Founded in 2022, H992 aims to deliver Swiss-made quality to a broader audience. The brand has succeeded in creating its own distinctive style, clearly showcased in its three collections: H1, H2, and H3. These watches combine exceptional quality with sporty designs suitable for daily wear, offering a range of styles to cater to diverse tastes.
H1 Collection
The H1 Collection boasts a sporty design with a 42mm case. Some editions feature a black PVD-coated stainless steel case. The collection is powered by the Sellita SW260-1 automatic movement, certified by COSC for precision.
The watches are available in a variety of dial colors, including burgundy, blue, and black, with select models featuring diamond-set dials. The design exudes a distinctly athletic vibe, with an integrated strap and a unique bezel. The dial’s simplicity is captivating, with its blend of markers and minute track, and a subdial for seconds adding a touch of sophistication.
H2 Collection
The H2 Collection presents a more elegant and minimalist approach with a smaller 38mm case. While maintaining the brand’s identity, this collection ventures into a refined aesthetic.
Powered by the same Sellita SW260-1 automatic movement certified by COSC. The H2 watches come in sophisticated dial colors, such as classic salmon, traditional white, and mother-of-pearl. These timepieces are perfect for those who prefer smaller, more elegant designs.
Both the H1 and H2 Collections are limited to 992 pieces per edition, emphasizing the exclusivity of the brand. Prices start at 992 CHF, symbolizing the brand’s unique identity.
H3 Collection
The H3 Collection marks a bold evolution for H992, featuring a larger 44mm case and combining sporty elegance with innovative design. The collection introduces a tricompass chronograph and is powered by the Sellita SW510 automatic movement, also COSC-certified.
The H3 stands out with vibrant dial colors such as bright green and celestial blue, offering nine distinctive variants to cater to various preferences. With a price of 2,292 CHF,
