Introducing H. Moser & Cie. Unveils The New Pioneer Dual Time GMT

The independent Swiss watchmaker H. Moser & Cie. is celebrating the 24th anniversary of the renowned Great Magazine of Timepieces (commonly known as GMT) with the release of a new limited edition: the H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Dual Time GMT Limited Edition. This timepiece features a striking Matrix Green dial, appearing for the first time in the Pioneer collection.

The watch comes in a 42.8 mm stainless steel case, offering a robust yet refined presence on the wrist. It features a sapphire crystal on both the front and the case back, each treated with a double anti-reflective coating for optimal clarity. This release marks only the second time H. Moser & Cie. has incorporated its GMT complication—and the first time within the Pioneer collection.

Another standout feature is the Matrix Green fumé dial with a black gradient, a colorway previously seen in the Streamliner Centre Seconds "Green Dragon." This model also borrows the hands and Arabic numerals from the Heritage collection; these numerals are crafted from Globolight, an advanced ceramic material infused with Super-LumiNova, providing a brighter, longer-lasting afterglow. Additionally, the dial includes a date window at 6 o’clock, an orange GMT hand, and a small, discreet ‘24’ in orange at 12 o’clock—a nod to GMT’s anniversary.

Powering the watch is the in-house Calibre HMC 809, an automatic movement that operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz) and offers a three-day power reserve (72 hours). The movement showcases an open-worked tungsten rotor, revealing the intricate mechanics beneath, while the finishing features the distinctive double-crested Moser stripes.

The watch comes with an interchangeable orange rubber strap and an additional brown calfskin strap, both featuring a steel pin buckle. It is limited to 24 pieces and priced at CHF 22,900, which is equivalent to AED 97,500.
