An Exceptional Dial Blending Classical Techniques and Superior Craftsmanship
H. Moser & Cie., a brand renowned for its leadership in crafting special high-end artisanal dials, logo-free dials, and the daring use of materials, has built a reputation by reinterpreting classic techniques in a modern way.
H. Moser & Cie. unveils the new Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Purple Enamel, a timepiece that elevates the brand’s famous fumé dials to new heights, blending the richness of Grand Feu enamelling with a fresh, avant-garde aesthetic.
The stainless steel case, fully polished, measures 40mm in diameter and 11.2mm in height. It features the distinctive groove on the case band that defines the Endeavour collection. While sapphire crystal protects both sides of the watch, the case offers a water resistance of 30 meters.
The dial of the new Endeavour is a true masterpiece, showcasing a blend of various techniques. The process begins with an artisan engraving a hammered effect into the white gold dial base. Then, the master enameller crushes six enamel pigments and applies them in a gradation, creating the fumé effect—lighter at the center and more saturated at the periphery. After multiple firings, the captivating Purple Haze emerges at the surface.
Fitted with elegant leaf-shaped hour and minute hands and a slender heat-purpled seconds hand, the dial is free of logos and indices, allowing the beauty of the Grand Feu enamel and its shining color to take center stage.
Revealed through the caseback is Moser’s in-house HMC 201 calibre, an automatic movement measuring 32mm in diameter and 5.5mm in height. It features skeletonised bridges with an anthracite finish, highlighted by Moser’s signature double stripe, and an openworked rotor made of gold. The balance wheel oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 VPH, and the barrel delivers a solid 3-day power reserve.
Matching the dial color, the watch is fitted with a purple hand-stitched kudu leather strap with a steel pin buckle. Priced at CHF 27,000, which is approximately equivalent to AED 115,000.
