Commemorating the 20th anniversary of the iconic Spring Drive caliber
Grand Seiko was founded in 1960 as part of the Seiko Group, and in 2017, it officially separated from the Seiko Group to become independent and chart a new path toward innovation. The brand integrates traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, exemplified by the introduction of Spring Drive in 1999. This innovative movement combines mechanical and quartz elements to offer exceptional accuracy, Grand Seiko introduced Spring Drive to its collection in 2004, and this year marks the 20th anniversary of the 9R Spring Drive movement. Finely printed minute Indices around the periphery aid time reading, maintaining a clean and balanced look.
