Four releases in red gold or steel cases with a moonphase indicator
The Lady Serenade is one of the luxury women's watches collections produced by the renowned German watch manufacturer, Glashütte Original. This collection is characterized by its elegant and feminine designs, catering specifically to the tastes and preferences of women.
This year, the brand celebrated Valentine's Day with a limited-edition timepiece adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds and a mother-of-pearl dial. Now, Glashütte celebrates International Women's Day by adding a new collection with four fresh editions featuring a moon phase indicator, named the Serenade Luna.
Departing from the previous Serenade models with 36mm cases, the new Serenade Luna boasts a diameter of 32.5mm and a slim height of 8.9mm. Available in both 18k red gold and stainless steel. The stainless steel variants opt for models with or without diamonds adorning the bezel. For those with diamond-set bezels, a rose-cut diamond graces the blossom-shaped crown, while non-set models showcase a moonstone cabochon instead. However, the rose gold variant comes with one option adorned with 48 diamonds on its bezel.
The steel variants feature white mother-of-pearl or blue sunray dials, adorned with white gold applied hour markers set with 20 brilliant-cut diamonds, along with white gold hands. However, the sunray golden green dial for the red gold variant comes with red gold applied hour markers set with 20 brilliant-cut diamonds, and red gold hands. Both the steel and red gold releases feature a beautiful moon phase indicator at 6 o'clock in white mother-of-pearl against a blue night sky backdrop.
The Serenade Luna is powered by the newly developed automatic caliber 35-14, featuring an integrated moon phase complication made to fit within the small case, measuring just 3.8mm in thickness. Operating at 28,800 vph (4Hz), the movement provides a power reserve of 60 hours. The red gold rotor is visible through the sapphire caseback and adorned with a beautiful seashell pattern guilloché decoration.
The red gold model comes with a green alligator strap, while the steel variants offer a choice between a blue alligator strap or a steel bracelet with a folding clasp. Notably, all straps are interchangeable. The red gold version is priced at EUR 23,900, which is equivalent to AED 96,100. However, the price range for the steel models varies based on factors such as the presence of diamond-set bezels, dial type, and the selection of straps or bracelets, spanning from EUR 10,900 to EUR 16,100, which is approximately AED 43,900 to AED 65,000.
