Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
The German manufacture enriches its ladies’ collection with a refined new luxury release
Glashütte Original introduces the new Serenade Luna, featuring a newly developed dial colour that evokes the soft sheen of silk and velvet. This latest addition to the brand’s refined ladies’ watch collection is distinguished by a deep violet tone, a luxurious blend of red and blue, reminiscent of Gynura aurantiaca, more commonly known as the velvet plant. This rich chromatic duality perfectly complements the Serenade Luna, a timepiece that strikes an elegant balance between versatility, feminine design, and German mechanical finesse.
Housed in a stainless steel case measuring 32.5 mm in diameter and 8.9 mm in thickness, the Serenade Luna captivates with its graceful proportions and fluid lines. A sparkling diamond-set bezel enhances its jewellery-like presence, while the crown, adorned with a rose-cut diamond, adds a final touch of refinement. Surrounding the violet dial, 48 brilliant-cut diamonds provide a radiant frame. The dial itself is meticulously crafted at Glashütte Original’s in-house dial manufactory.
A delicate sunray finish combined with translucent lacquer lends remarkable visual depth, further accentuated by the vivid reflections of the diamond hour markers. The hands, fashioned from polished white gold, complete the composition with understated elegance.
At the heart of each timepiece is the exceptional moon phase display positioned at 6 o’clock. Crafted entirely from natural white and dark Tahitian mother-of-pearl, the moon disc offers a highly precise representation of the lunar cycle, requiring correction by just one day every 122 years. It can be easily adjusted via the crown in its first position.
All four models are powered by the Calibre 35 automatic movement with integrated moon phase complication, delivering a 60-hour power reserve. This refined movement incorporates a silicon balance spring, resistant to both temperature fluctuations and magnetic fields, and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).
Through the sapphire crystal case back, the movement’s meticulous finishing can be admired in full: the Glashütte stripe finish on the three-quarter plate, finely bevelled edges, a sunburst finish on the reduction wheel, perlage on the oscillating weight’s track, and polished, blued screws. The exquisite shell motif engraved on the golden rotor plate recalls the folds of a theatre’s stage curtain.
The timepiece is paired with a Louisiana alligator leather strap that harmonises perfectly with the dial colour. Its glossy, velvety surface, enhanced by a subtle dégradé effect, elegantly bridges the bold violet hue with the natural texture of the leather. The watch is also available with a stainless steel bracelet.
Pricing is set at EUR 14,400 (approximately AED 62,200) for the version on leather strap, and EUR 15,600 (approximately AED 67,400) for the stainless steel bracelet edition.
