The Maison’s iconic design returns with a Darkblast® case and integrated bracelet
Following the launch of the Masterlink in 2024 and a distinctive gem-set version in 2025, Gerald Charles now unveils its natural evolution: the Masterlink Boutique Edition, a refined interpretation of the Maison’s first asymmetric integrated bracelet. Designed as a limited edition exclusively for Gerald Charles boutiques, this creation will be available at the JR Nagoya Takashimaya boutique and the Gerald Charles Atelier in Geneva.
Originally introduced as a contemporary reinterpretation of the Maestro case by Mr. Genta, the Masterlink marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Maison. The Boutique Edition elevates its aesthetic codes through deeper tones and exclusive finishing. Its integrated bracelet maintains seamless continuity, with technical complexity cleverly concealed through invisible construction and nearly imperceptible screws.
This new version strongly asserts its contemporary character. Crafted in steel, the watch continues to honor Mr. Genta’s pioneering vision, which regarded this material as precious, now expressed through a darker, more sculptural signature.
The case measures 38 mm × 38 mm with a thickness of 7.99 mm and features a sapphire crystal with multi-layer anti-reflective coating on both sides. It is equipped with a screw-down crown on the right, decorated with a Clous de Paris finish, and a transparent case back with circular brushed finishing and a Darkblast border. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters.
Both the case and integrated bracelet feature the Darkblast finish, a proprietary powder-application technique that imparts a deep, matte, and contemporary character while preserving the harmonious continuity of the surfaces.
The Masterlink Boutique Edition is fitted with a double-layer black dial enhanced by a refined sunray finish. Like the original Masterlink, the relief comprises two distinct superposed levels, fully constructed rather than stamped, creating genuine depth. It features a white minute railway track, rhodium-plated baton indexes, and baton hands with white Super-LumiNova inserts.
The sapphire caseback reveals the ultra-thin automatic movement with an off-center micro-rotor decorated with a honeycomb pattern. The caliber GCA1000 measures only 2.7 mm in thickness and offers a 50-hour power reserve, beating at 3 Hz (21,600 vph). Vertical satin finishing around the perimeter, along with the “Boutique Edition” engraving, underscores the exclusivity of this creation. The bridges are finely decorated with Côtes de Genève, perlage, and circular graining.
The bracelet is crafted from 316L stainless steel with a Darkblast® finish, exclusively designed and manufactured in-house by Gerald Charles. Available in three sizes, Small (157 mm), Medium (205 mm), and Large (222 mm), it features a refined micro-link system for precise adjustments and a folding clasp adorned with a hexagonal plate engraved with the “GC” logo, reinforcing the brand’s distinctive identity.

Conceived as a limited series, the Masterlink Boutique Edition is available exclusively through the Gerald Charles boutiques at JR Nagoya Takashimaya and the Gerald Charles Atelier in Geneva, with price available upon request.
