Gaga Laboratorio Unveils the New Labormatic Lucie Watch

A Colorful Case and Fully Luminous Dial Display Time in a Bold Unique Way

Founded in 2024, Gagà Laboratorio is an independent watch brand built on the foundation of Italian design and Swiss manufacturing excellence. Led by founder Ruben Tomella and creative director Mo Coppoletta, the brand quickly established itself with the Labormatic collection praised for its distinctive aesthetic, technical execution, and strong creative identity.

Since launch, Gagà Laboratorio has focused exclusively on in-house collections, maintaining full creative control and a clear design vision. Now, for the first time since its inception, the brand announces a collaborative timepiece developed in partnership with Revolution, the "Labormatic Luce".

The watch features a meticulously constructed 7-part stainless steel case measuring 42.00 mm in diameter and 13.30 mm in thickness, offering a bold yet balanced wrist presence. A polished finish is complemented by a blue PVD treatment applied to the case’s lateral surfaces and crown, positioned unconventionally at 12 o’clock. The crown is further refined with a steel cabochon, adding a subtle decorative detail. The front is protected by a double-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, while the back showcases a see-through sapphire caseback, secured by four exposed screws highlighting the movement within. With a water resistance of 5 ATM, the case blends visual sophistication with everyday durability.

The dial showcases a bold and architectural design, combining blue and grey tones in a layout divided into four visual sectors. At its core, the dial blends digital and analog displays in a highly original configuration. hours are indicated digitally via a jumping-hour window, while the minutes are shown on a rotating disc rendered in natural Lapis Lazuli, a deep-blue semi-precious stone known for its rich texture and color. A central seconds disc, also crafted from Lapis, adds further visual depth and movement. The entire display is enveloped in Super-LumiNova, enhancing legibility in low-light environments. This fusion of materials and mechanisms delivers a unique time-reading experience that pairs digital precision with analog fluidity, wrapped in a palette of natural stone and luminous color.

The watch is powered by the La Joux-Perret LJP G100 automatic mechanical movement, a caliber renowned for its reliability, precision, and modern engineering. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and one of its standout features is the 68-hour power reserve, allowing the watch to run uninterrupted for nearly three days without being worn. Enhancing its mechanical appeal, the movement is equipped with a customized rotor, intricately decorated to reflect the brand’s unique identity visible through the sapphire crystal caseback; it adds both technical and aesthetic value to the timepiece.

It is fitted with a blue Saffiano leather strap, secured by a stainless steel pin buckle. This model is produced in a limited edition of just 100 pieces, at price CHF 4,300, which is equivalent to AED 19,900.
