A Limited Edition for the 35th Anniversary Celebration, The Fusion of Tourbillon and Perpetual Calendar Complications
Frederique Constant continues to launch distinctive versions to celebrate the thirty-fifth anniversary of its founding, which coincides with the fifteenth anniversary of the first tourbillon manufactured by the company. This follows the introduction of its initial hand-made watch, the Classic Tourbillon Meteorite Manufacturer, featuring a unique meteorite dial. The Swiss brand now presents an exclusive edition for the sixth edition of Dubai Watch Week, the new High Life Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Manufacturer watch.
The new watch maintains the signature style of the "High Life" collection, housed in an 18-karat rose gold case. The fully polished three-part case, with a diameter of 41 mm, features straight lugs and is accompanied by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, coated with an anti-reflective layer.
The blue dial showcases the distinctive globe pattern of the collection, surrounded by a white printed minute track with applied rose gold indices. Designed for optimal legibility, the dial incorporates multiple sub-dials finished in a sunburst pattern. These include a hand indicating the day and month with a smaller hand denoting leap years, and a date sub-dial at 3 o'clock. Another sub-dial at 9 o'clock displays a separate day, while the 60 seconds tourbillon takes center stage at 6 o'clock, revealing the patented escape lever dating back to 1801. Super-Luminova-coated minute and hour hands and indices enhance visibility in low-light conditions.
The sapphire crystal case back exposes the in-house manufactured automatic caliber FC-975, adorned with grained and Côtes de Genève finishes, blued screws, and a gold-plated base plate engraved with the individual serial number of each piece. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the caliber offers a power reserve of 38 hours.
The watch comes with an alligator leather strap and an additional blue rubber strap, providing the owner the flexibility to switch between classic and sporty looks. This limited edition comprises only 35 pieces, with a price tag of 45,000 euros, equivalent to 179,000 UAE dirhams.
