A compination of a White gold case and green malachite dial
The Manufacture collection is one of Frederique Constant's iconic collections, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, and Manufacture Classic Date Moonphase watch is a standout in this collection, having been released in several versions, as detailed in a previous article on our website. The latest update to this model features a new dial and case material, distinguishing it from its predecessors within the collection.
The latest edition of the Classic Moonphase Date features a sleek 40mm case, 12.4mm thick, and 20mm lugs. A departure from the usual stainless steel, this model features a luxurious 18k white gold case. It evokes a classic feel with its prominent bezel and distinctive onion-shaped crown, and protected by a domed sapphire crystal and transparent case back, the watch is designed to offer water resistance to 30 meters.
This timepiece introduces a striking green malachite dial, distinguished by its natural gradient from bright green to deep forest green, At 6 o'clock, a combined sub-dial for the date and moonphase reveals a silver moon set against a dark, starry background, with a slender hand marking the date from 1 to 31, with only the odd numbers printed in white. The indices are meticulously diamond-cut and polished, with markers at 5 and 7 o'clock modified to accommodate the sub-dial. The dial’s outer edge is framed by a white minute track, which enhances readability and accentuates the malachite surface.
The timepiece features crafted in-house FC-716 automatic movement, renowned for its precision and elegance. This movement operates with 26 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, With a robust 72-hour power reserve, it provides enduring performance, the movement includes newly redesigned bridges embellished with fan-shaped Côtes de Genève to fit the larger barrel. Furthermore, the openworked rotor, finished in a striking gold hue, imparts a unique flair to the movement.
The watch is paired with a dark green alligator leather strap, accented with color-matched stitching and a folding clasp, and is limited to just 36 pieces, priced at EUR 29,995, which is equivalent to 125,980 AED.
