Now featuring a more compact size, and a newly developed movement
When it was first introduced in 2016, the Frédérique Constant Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture was the most affordable perpetual calendar watch on the market. The company did not stop there; they continued to innovate with new movements, including their first tourbillon watch. At Watches & Wonders 2025, they unveiled their new perpetual calendar caliber, a developed movement with an extended power reserve and a more compact case.
Today, the timepiece continues to push boundaries in terms of quality, component finishes, and technical features. The dial now features one of collectors' favorite colors—salmon—set in a steel case with a 40-millimeter diameter. The new Classic case houses the new Manufacture FC-776 caliber, the 34th movement developed in-house by the Geneva-based watchmaker. This new movement boasts an impressive three-day power reserve.
The new perpetual calendar timepiece from Frédérique Constant comes in a 40mm diameter, compared to the 42mm used in the previous edition, which also featured this complication. The case thickness is now 12.2mm. Inspired by vintage watchmaking, the case's rounded, smooth, and elegant design follows the elegance of the previous, smaller edition from the brand, with a thin bezel, an onion crown, and short lugs. The case is protected by sapphire crystal on both sides and offers 50 meters of water resistance.
The salmon-colored dial features a sunray finish, with snailing decoration on the subdials. The hands and indices are silver-toned and polished, with the indices receiving a diamond cut and applied to a black-printed minute railroad track.

For ease of reading this complex timepiece, Frédérique Constant has ensured that the layout is comfortable for the eye. The date subdial is at 3 o'clock, the moonphase display is at 6 o'clock, the day subdial is at 9 o'clock, and finally, the month and leap-year cycle indicators are at 12 o'clock.
Beneath the sapphire crystal case back, the new FC-776 caliber is revealed. This is the brand’s 34th in-house movement. Based on the 2016 in-house automatic FC-755, which was featured in the collaboration timepiece with Peter Speake-Marin, the new FC-776 increases the power reserve from 38 to 72 hours. It beats at 4Hz and features an openworked rose-gold-colored rotor, along with traditional finishing techniques like perlage and fan-shaped Côtes de Genève.
The Frédérique Constant Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture is paired with a dark brown alligator strap and a folding buckle. It is priced at CHF 9,995, which is approximately AED 42,650.
