Gastronomy Meets Horology, Unveiling the New Limited Edition from highlife collection
Established in 1988 by a Dutch married couple, Aletta Francoise Frédérique Stas-Bax and Peter Constant Stas, the company takes its name from the grandparents of both founders. Presently headquartered in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva,since 2016, the company has been under the ownership of Citizen.
From the very beginning, the company has developed and launched numerous models. In 1999, Frederique Constant introduced the initial models of its Highlife collection, which were distinguished by their integrated straps and a sporty design. Since 2020, the maison has continued this innovative concept, rekindling interest in the collection with various models featuring this clever feature. You can easily identify this collection by the matte dial with a globe pattern embossed in the center.

A few days ago in Amsterdam, an intriguing fusion of gastronomy and horology occurred. Watch enthusiasts and aficionados of haute cuisine congregated in a single space to witness the unveiling of the new Frederique Constant Highlife Automatic Edition Caron. The French-born chef, Alain Caron, who has resided in the Netherlands, is a prominent figure in the culinary world, recognized for his roles as a presenter and judge on various TV cooking shows. He collaborated with Reijersen Juweliers and Frederique Constant to bring this project to life.
The Frederique Constant Highlife Edition Caron is available in two sizes: 34mm and 39mm, with thicknesses of 9.8mm and 10.34mm, respectively.

This makes it an ideal "his & hers" set. Furthermore, the brushed and polished stainless steel case is equipped with a curved and anti-reflective sapphire crystal. A polished bezel with a knurled crown on the right facilitates both winding and setting the watch.

The dial, which has a matte creamy-coloured, decorated with a central swirl, or colimaçon, which is based on a drawing by Mr.Caron It symbolizes the height of pressure in the kitchen.The dial is surrounded with a black printed minute track and applied indices. The luminous sword-shaped hands for the hours and minutes are paired with a slender steel central seconds hand, the hour markers from 6 to 11 o’clock have pistachio-green lume. This is the Caron color, which highlights the hours of service at his restaurants. including a date window at 3 o'clock and Caron’s logo at 6 o'clock.

The transparent case back of the watch depicts a drawing of two people. under it an automatic FC-303 caliber, operates at 28,800 VPH with a power reserve of 38 hours, coming with an anti-shock mechanism and 26 jewels.

Each watch is presented on a stainless steel 3-link strap, Folding clasp each watch also comes with an extra khaki-colored rubber strap with buckle clasp (Easy Exchange System).
The Frederique Constant Highlife Automatic Edition Caron is a limited edition of 50 pieces for each size. The watches are available for a price of EUR 2,295, equivalent to AED 8,900 for the 34mm version, or EUR 2,395, equivalent to AED 9,300 for the 39mm
