The Masterlink Perpetual Calendar, developed entirely in-house, marks a new chapter for the young and ambitious Maison as it continues to expand its repertoire of poetic complications.

In keeping with Gerald Charles’s “No Compromise” watchmaking philosophy, established by Mr. Genta more than a quarter of a century ago, the Masterlink Perpetual Calendar introduces an in-house, asymmetrical, automatic perpetual calendar calibre with a three-counter display.

Franck Muller presents the Vanguard Slim Night Cut, a special edition developed in collaboration with Chronopassion, the brand’s official retailer in France. This timepiece stands out with its fully black aesthetic, covering the case, dial, and select movement components.

The case, crafted from black titanium, features Franck Muller's signature tonneau shape and houses an ultra-thin automatic movement, developed entirely in-house. This edition combines the lightness of titanium, the precision-engineered case design, and the integrated strap to ensure maximum comfort on the wrist.

The case, caseback, and crown are all made from grade 5 titanium, undergoing a micro-blasted finishing process followed by a black PVD treatment, creating a seamless harmony between color and texture. Measuring 41mm × 50mm with a thickness of 9.1mm, the case is protected by sapphire crystal on both sides and offers 30 meters of water resistance.

The black dial complements the overall design, also treated with PVD coating. It features applied Arabic numerals with raised outer edges, crafted from an innovative material filled with green-glowing Super-LumiNova, ensuring exceptional legibility in low-light conditions. The same luminescent material is used on the case sides, enhancing the watch’s luminous aesthetic. A striking contrast between black and gray on the dial accentuates the refined micro-blasted titanium finish.

At the heart of the Vanguard Slim Night Cut beats the ultra-thin automatic FM 708 caliber, a testament to Franck Muller's technical expertise. Fully developed and manufactured in-house, this movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve.

The watch is fitted with an integrated Swedish calfskin leather strap, secured with a grade 5 titanium buckle, micro-blasted and coated in black PVD for a cohesive finish.

Exclusively designed for the French market, this limited edition is restricted to just 24 pieces, available only through Chronopassion. It is priced at €15,000, approximately AED 59,800.
