Introducing Franck Muller Unveils the Special Edition Vanguard Casablanca King Power

Franck Muller announces the beginning of a new partnership with King Power, one of Thailand's leading retailers. To celebrate this partnership, the two companies are opening two new boutiques in Thailand. These boutiques are designed to offer a unique experience, blending traditional Thai elegance with modern design, while showcasing Franck Muller's unmatched craftsmanship and heritage. Both boutiques are designed to provide a museum-like atmosphere, with carefully selected interiors.

Additionally, to celebrate King Power’s 35th anniversary, Franck Muller has launched the "Vanguard Casablanca King Power 35th Anniversary" edition. This exclusive timepiece features a vibrant blue dial and is available only at Franck Muller King Power boutiques across Thailand.

The "Cintrée Curvex Casablanca" is one of Franck Muller's iconic designs, launched in 1998. It was inspired by a movie, as Franck Muller found himself drawn to the classic 1942 film Casablanca.

While the "Vanguard" collection was introduced in 2014, the "Vanguard Casablanca" debuted in 2022 with a new 43mm size, filling the gap between the 41mm and 45mm cases of the "Vanguard" collection. This size is available exclusively in South Asia and is the case size for this special watch.

The Vanguard case features the famous tonneau shape: curved, rounded, and polished. Size: 42.5mm x 52.7mm, with a thickness of 9.3 mm. The case recalls the spirit of the original Casablanca collection, building on its simple elegance while presenting a stronger, more organic form on the wrist.

The dial is blue with a sunburst finish, showcasing large white Arabic numerals that are applied and filled with SuperLuminova. The date window at 6 o’clock is rounded, with a white disc and black numbers. The hour and minute hands are semi-skeletonized, while the seconds hand is arrow-shaped, all filled with white SuperLuminova.

Powering the watch is the automatic movement used in the Vanguard Casablanca models, which displays only the time and date. The Caliber FM 800-DT, manufactured by Franck Muller, consists of 158 components and offers a power reserve of 42 hours. It beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).

A black alligator leather strap with blue stitching complements the design, and the watch is available exclusively at Franck Muller boutiques within King Power locations across Thailand. The price is available upon request.
