Introducing Franck Muller Presents the Cintrée Curvex Crazy Power Reserve Edition Orologi & Passioni

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Orologi & Passioni, Italy’s largest watchmaking forum, Franck Muller unveils the Cintrée Curvex Crazy Power Reserve Orologi & Passioni 20th Anniversary, a highly exclusive limited edition of just 20+1 pieces, co-created in collaboration with members of the community.

This remarkable timepiece marks the fifth limited edition in the Oltremare collection, fusing the brand’s emblematic Cintrée Curvex case with an in-house movement boasting an impressive seven-day power reserve.

The watch is housed in a fully polished stainless steel case, measuring 36 mm in width, 50.4 mm in length, and 11.6 mm in thickness. A sapphire crystal protects both the dial and the caseback, ensuring optimal clarity and scratch resistance. Water-resistant to 30 meters, the case balances elegance with everyday versatility.

The dial is a tribute to artisanal craftsmanship, featuring stamped guilloché adorned with a sunray motif and concentric lines emanating from the center. Finished in a rich Oltremare blue and enhanced by 25 layers of lacquer, it exudes depth and sophistication. Hand-applied Arabic numerals in a crisp white hue further highlight Franck Muller’s meticulous attention to detail.

In a bold and unconventional twist, the power reserve indicator is positioned asymmetrically between 10 and 11 o’clock—an audacious design element that echoes the spirit of the Crazy Hours series. A small seconds subdial is neatly placed at 6 o’clock, providing functional balance.

Powering the watch is the in-house MVT FM 1701 R1 caliber, a manually wound movement equipped with a double barrel system that delivers an outstanding seven-day power reserve. Beating at 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5 Hz), the movement is finished to the exacting standards of Swiss haute horlogerie, with Côtes de Genève on the bridges, perlage on the main plate, and hand-polished anglage showcasing the brand’s commitment to decorative excellence.

Completing the piece is a blue alligator leather strap secured by a stainless steel buckle. The Cintrée Curvex Crazy Power Reserve Orologi & Passioni 20th Anniversary is limited to just 20 + 1 pieces and is priced at EUR 17,000, equivalent to approximately AED 70,225.
