The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Franck Muller Celebrates the Year of the Snake with the Silhouette CX Snake

A Green Emerald Dial and a New Snake-Inspired Rose Gold Case

As the Year of the Snake approaches, many brands are preparing to mark this event with special editions inspired by this significant occasion. Among the most notable names, Franck Muller is releasing the limited edition "Silhouette CX snake". This new timepiece draws inspiration from the symbolism of the snake, and is available exclusively for the Asia-Pacific region.

The watch comes in a polished 18K rose gold case, with a diameter of 30.8 mm, a thickness of 8.3 mm, and a length of 44 mm. The wavy case structure mirrors the sinuous movement of a snake, as if it was crawling, with the design flowing seamlessly across the timepiece. The suspended sapphire crystal follows the undulating contours of the case, extending from both the top and bottom. Additionally, the crown is adorned with a green emerald, perfectly matching the accents on the dial.

The white stamped guilloche dial boasts a unique design, with applied numerals intricately cut out by a snake that crawls between them. These numerals and hands are crafted in rose gold, and the curved snake motif is adorned with deep green emeralds set using a micro-setting technique to enhance their brilliance. The emeralds vary in size and are placed closely together. The dial also has a beautiful sunray finish.

The watch is powered by caliber MVT FM 2038, an in-house automatic movement that offers 40 hours of power reserve and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The movement showcases remarkable craftsmanship in every detail, featuring Côtes de Genève finishing on the bridges and rotor, along with Perlage on the mainplate. The rotor board is beveled, while diamond polishing enhances the sinks and bridge bevels for a luxurious finish.

It comes with a hand sewn calf leather strap embossed with snakeskin texture, and 18K rose gold buckle. It's a limited edition of 28 pieces, and priced at SGD 66,000, approximately equivalent to AED 178,400.
