A Limited-Edition Celebrating the Iconic Character with a Unique Time-Displaying Mechanism
Franck Muller and Bamford Watch Department proudly introduce their latest collaboration: the Crazy Love Snoopy. This limited-edition timepiece beautifully celebrates the friendship and bond between Snoopy and his loyal sidekick, Woodstock. The Crazy Love Snoopy marks the third creation in an ongoing series of collaborative designs from Franck Muller and Bamford Watch Department. This distinctive watch comes in Franck Muller’s signature tonneau case shape and features the iconic Crazy Hours jumping hour mechanism, showcasing the brand’s unconventional approach to time display.
Bamford Watch Department (BWD) is a London-based company renowned for customizing luxury watches. Founded by George Bamford in 2004, BWD pioneered the luxury watch customization market, initially gaining recognition for applying black coatings and unique design elements to iconic watches, which became a signature style for the brand.
The case is crafted in black PVD-treated titanium with a hand-brushed finish and sapphire crystal, offering a sleek and modern look. The matte black stainless steel crown includes a dual-position setting for winding and time adjustment. A solid black-treated case back, secured with four screws, adds durability, while the watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters.
The dial is stamped with a Clous de Paris guilloché pattern, lending texture and elegance to the design. The iconic duo of Snoopy and Woodstock is subtly depicted in delicate silver tones, with a Super-LumiNova heart glowing in Woodstock’s beak—a charming symbol of their bond. Snoopy’s hands act as the hour and minute indicators, complementing the Crazy Hours layout, where numerals are displayed in an unconventional order to create a playful time-telling experience.
Powering the Franck Muller x Bamford Watch Department Crazy Love Snoopy is the in-house MVD FM 2800-CHR automatic jumping hours movement. This caliber not only powers the unique Crazy Hours complication but also delivers a 42-hour power reserve with a beat rate of 28,800 bph, ensuring dependable performance.
Available as a limited edition of only 50 pieces, the Franck Muller Cintrée Curvex Crazy Love Snoopy comes with a hand-sewn alligator strap, secured by a titanium buckle with a sleek black PVD coating, presented in a black lacquered PEANUTS doghouse box. Priced at GBP 28,800 (approximately AED 137,300), this exclusive timepiece merges high-quality materials with Franck Muller’s distinctive, avant-garde approach to time display.
