The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Farer Relaunches the GMT Bezel Collection

A New Case Design, Two Sizes, and Four Color Options

The British company Farer has relaunched the GMT Bezel collection, now featuring a completely redesigned case, four distinctive color options, and two size choices. The new design boasts concave lugs that the company calls “ski-slope” , a unique design first introduced in the Chrono Contempo collection.

These new releases are designed as adventure watches, offering high durability while being as practical as they are visually appealing. The collection goes beyond merely offering different colors; it features unique details while maintaining a consistent core design.

The four editions are available in two sizes: two models with a 40mm case and two models with a 38mm case, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes. The larger models, Maze III and Crooms III, showcase distinctive designs, while the smaller 38mm models, Maze Blue and Charlton Green, present a fresh and vibrant appearance. All cases are made from 316L stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion.

Each case is water-resistant up to 200 meters and features a screw-down crown, a double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, and a sapphire crystal case back. The bi-directional 24-click rotating bezel, a standout feature of the collection, is equipped with a scratch-resistant sapphire insert and a unique 24-hour scale for each model.

Each watch in the GMT Bezel collection offers a unique combination of colors and textures, with a focus on legibility. The hands and hour markers glow with X1-grade Super-LumiNova, ensuring optimal visibility in low-light conditions.

Maze III
This model features a white pearl dial with a grid pattern. The hour markers are bold, diver-style markers, including flat circles, rectangles, and Farer’s signature arrow at 12 o’clock. Light blue accents complete the design, while the GMT bezel displays a day-and-night division in black and white, with all 24-hour numbers shown.

Crooms III
A classic design making a comeback, it features a burgundy sunburst dial. The hour markers combine applied indices with Arabic numerals at 9 and 3 o’clock. The bezel is entirely black, displaying every other hour on the 24-hour scale.

Maze Blue
A 38mm version inspired by Maze III but with a honeycomb pattern instead of a grid. The name "Blue" derives from the blue section of the day-and-night division on the GMT bezel, as well as the blue GMT hand. Bold orange accents add a daring touch.

Charlton Green
This model features the same honeycomb pattern as Maze Blue but with a warmer cream tone. The GMT bezel includes dot markers between Arabic numerals, while the beveled hour markers feature blue central lines, a unique detail for this model. The name "Green" comes from the greenish-blue day-and-night division on the bezel.

All four editions are powered by the Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW330-2, a top-grade caliber beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) with a power reserve of up to 56 hours.

The GMT Bezel collection is priced at £1,350 (approximately AED 6,000), with an optional stainless steel bracelet available for £190, featuring a three-link design.
