Five dress watches with beautiful and elegant colors
Farer is a young British brand that was established in 2015. It is inspired by British watchmaking heritage, merging it with bold, contemporary style and colorful designs. In the brand’s latest release, it unveils the Lissom collection, which breaks away from convention by combining sleek elegance with vibrant dials, breathing new life into the dress watch category.
It features five distinct models, each named after a renowned British botanist: Agnes Arber, Isaac Bayley Balfour, George Forrest, John Lindley, and Daniel Solander. These names are paired with vibrant color combinations.

The case is made of stainless steel, with both polished and brushed finishes that create a stunning visual contrast. Angled lugs allow the watch to sit comfortably on the wrist. The name “Lissom,” meaning slim or graceful, perfectly reflects the collection's design ethos, as it measures 38mm in diameter and just 7.95mm in thickness, making it impressively slim. The flat sapphire crystal offers a clear view of the dial, while the transparent caseback gives a glimpse of the beautifully decorated movement inside, ensuring 50m of water resistance.

Each model in the Lissom collection features a brushed dial, with vibrant tones that reflect the personality of the botanists they are named after. The Lindley model has a striking deep purple dial with a blue sub-dial at 6 o’clock, while the Balfour features electric blue hands against a white dial. The collection also includes the Arber, with its vibrant raspberry and purple dial, the Forrest with a teal and orange combination, and the Solander, which presents a dark grey and black color scheme. Each model incorporates Lumicast Arabic numerals for exceptional readability, while Super-LumiNova hands ensure visibility in low-light conditions.
Powering the collection is the La Joux-Perret D100 movement, a hand-wound Swiss calibre based on the renowned Peseux 7001. The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz) and offers a 50-hour power reserve.
Each watch is paired with a leather strap in different colors, featuring a pin buckle and a quick-release system for easy swapping. The watches join the brand’s permanent line, with each model priced at EUR 1,350, which is approximately AED 6,000.
