Introducing Farer Expands the World Timer Collection for 2026

Three new models elevate one of the British brand’s signature travel watches

When British watch brand Farer first introduced its World Timer in 2019, it did something few watches in its price range had truly mastered, it gave a complex mechanical complication real clarity. A world timer shows the time across all 24 global time zones at a single glance, a feat few watches manage without crowding the dial or overwhelming the wearer. This blend of technical ambition and visual balance has helped the World Timer become one of Farer’s most prominent models.

For 2026, the collection steps forward with three new references that enrich the catalogue. At its heart is the new Thorne, presented with a beautiful burgundy dial and offered in classic stainless steel or a gold PVD-coated case. The range also includes a gold PVD version of the Foxe, a model familiar to the line but transformed here with a new case treatment.

The case retains the World Timer’s balanced dimensions, measuring 39 mm in diameter with a thickness of 11 mm. These proportions strike an effective equilibrium between presence and comfort, allowing the watch to feel substantial without appearing large on the wrist. Farer uses 316L stainless steel as its base material, while the application of a gold PVD coating on select models adds both scratch resistance and a more refined aesthetic. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, and a clear exhibition caseback reveals the movement inside. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters.

The dial is where the ingenuity of this complication truly unfolds. In both burgundy and green variants, the surface is enriched by a guilloché pattern and layers of detail that never feel crowded. Rather than relying on an additional hand to indicate a second time zone, Farer’s design employs a rotating 24-hour disc at the centre of the dial, combined with an internal bidirectional bezel printed with major city names. By aligning the city corresponding to your local time beneath the 6 o’clock position and adjusting the inner disc accordingly, the time across all 24 zones can be read instantly at a glance.

Polished hour and minute hands are filled with luminous material to ensure legibility in low-light conditions, while the applied Arabic numerals and indices are crafted from Lumicast, a solid ceramic infused with Super-LumiNova. A date window is positioned at 3 o’clock.

Each watch is powered by the Sellita SW331-2 Elaboré, a Swiss automatic calibre selected for both its reliability and its suitability for this complication. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), the movement offers a power reserve of 56 hours. Its finishing is enhanced by a custom rotor colour-matched to the dial’s world map.

The watch is offered with a choice of leather straps secured by a pin buckle, and these new references join the permanent collection. Pricing starts with the Thorne in stainless steel at £1,525, approximately AED 7,600, while the Thorne Gold and Foxe Gold retail at £1,575, approximately AED 7,900.
