A collaboration with Topper Jewelers celebrating the marine life along the California coastline
DOXA has introduced a new special edition in collaboration with Burlingame, California–based luxury watch retailer Topper Jewelers: the limited edition ‘Great White’ SUB 250T GMT, inspired by the Great White Shark inhabiting the Gulf of the Farallones, off Northern California in the Pacific Ocean. This adventure-ready timepiece builds on the DOXA SUB 250T GMT platform first introduced at Geneva Watch Week 2025, combining compact dimensions with exceptional capability.
Rising from this gulf are the Farallon Islands, a series of rugged sea stacks and islands steeped in maritime lore, barely visible from the westward-facing San Francisco shoreline. Nicknamed the “Devil’s Teeth,” these islands are home to diverse marine life, including a thriving population of Great White Sharks. The SUB 250T GMT ‘Great White’ pays tribute to explorers of these remote shores. Its white and blue colorway echoes the dark navy of the Pacific and the white of these apex predators, continuing the design language of previous Topper Editions.
This edition introduces a custom caseback engraving depicting the San Francisco Bay Area relative to the Gulf of the Farallones. Following the 2024 Great White design, this Limited Edition maintains a no-date dial, preserving the SUB’s distinctive asymmetry while maximizing its luminous signature. The high-contrast dial is fully luminous, glowing bright blue in low light, just like its 2024 predecessor.
Crafted from a solid block of 316L stainless steel, the SUB 250T GMT features DOXA’s signature cushion-shaped case, measuring 40 × 42.9 mm. Its sharply defined silhouette is accentuated by angular bevels, a screw-down crown at 3 o’clock, and a flat sapphire crystal. The watch is equipped with DOXA’s patented unidirectional rotating bezel, featuring deep sawtooth edges and dual engravings for calculating both elapsed dive time and “no-stop” decompression times according to US Navy diving tables. The bezel engravings are finished in navy blue lacquer, matching the dial’s hour markers. Water resistance is rated at 250 meters.
The watch is powered by the Swiss-made Sellita SW300 automatic movement, decorated with DOXA’s signature finishes. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it provides a robust power reserve of approximately 56 hours.
Topper Jewelers will donate a portion of the proceeds from this edition to the Greater Farallones Association, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring and protecting coastal habitats and marine life in the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, a 3,295-square-mile marine ecosystem off Northern and Central California. This sanctuary is one of the most diverse marine environments in the world, supporting countless threatened and endangered species.
