Distinctive Red dial celebrate 75 years of the Emirati company
To mark the 75th anniversary of Ahmed Seddiqi, DOXA and the renowned retailer collaborated on an exclusive timepiece: the SUB 250 Ahmed Seddiqi. This special edition celebrates their shared values of tradition and excellence, embodying a commitment to crafting watches that resonate with collectors and connoisseurs attuned to the legacy of Swiss watchmaking.
Introduced by DOXA’s engineers in 1973, the SUB 250 reflects the pioneering spirit that has defined the brand’s legacy in professional dive watches. Faithful to the original SUB aesthetic, it combines clean lines, proven durability, and outstanding legibility.
Milled from a solid block of 316L stainless steel, the SUB 250 features DOXA’s signature cushion-shaped case measuring 40 × 42.9 mm. Its sharply defined silhouette is enhanced with angular bevels, a screw-down crown at 3 o’clock, and a flat sapphire crystal. The watch is equipped with DOXA’s patented unidirectional rotating bezel, designed for the precise calculation of no-decompression dive times. Unique to this edition, the bezel markings are rendered in black with Eastern Arabic numerals—an exclusive detail that underscores its individuality. With water resistance rated to 250 meters, the SUB 250 Ahmed Seddiqi remains every inch a true tool watch, engineered for demanding underwater environments.
On the screw-down caseback, an exclusive engraving, Where Legacy Meets Luxury, the motto of the Seddiqi family, captures the spirit of this edition, paying tribute to the origins of the SUB 250 while honoring its modern clientele of collectors and connoisseurs.
The watch’s distinctive cherry red dial is a tribute to Dubai’s vibrant energy and blazing horizon. Enhanced with a sunray finish, this deep hue contrasts beautifully with sand-gold-toned hands and indexes, evoking the desert landscapes that surround the city. For optimal legibility, the hands and indexes are treated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring clarity in low-light conditions. A date aperture at 3 o’clock adds functional balance, with the date disc also featuring Eastern Arabic numerals as a refined nod to regional heritage.
