Introducing Doxa Unveils the SUB 200 II Collection

A new chapter with a larger case, and new fumé dials

For a brand like Doxa, the challenge is rarely about creating credibility from scratch. That was settled long ago. Its place in dive-watch history is already secure, built on decades of purposeful underwater instruments and a design language that remains instantly recognisable within the category. Even when Doxa moves away from its most iconic professional silhouettes, there is usually a clear sense of continuity in the way it approaches proportion, legibility, colour, and purpose.

That is what has made the SUB 200 such an important model for the brand since its introduction in 2019. It translated Doxa’s diving identity into a more approachable, vintage-leaning format without stripping away the character that collectors associate with the name. It was simpler, cleaner, and more broadly wearable.

Now Doxa returns to that formula with the SUB 200 II, a watch that does not attempt to reinvent the collection so much as refine its presence. The new model stays close to the spirit of its predecessor, yet introduces a more assertive case size, a slimmer profile, new dial treatments, and a fresh set of strap options. The result is a watch that feels more contemporary in execution while still anchored in the retro-diver sensibility that made the original SUB 200 successful.

The case measures 44 mm in diameter and 12.8 mm in thickness, making it larger than the previous SUB 200 while also slimmer overall. It is crafted from 316L stainless steel, with the exception of the Redcoral version, which is distinguished by a black DLC-coated case that gives the watch a notably more modern and aggressive character.

Across the range, the construction retains the familiar mix of vintage-inspired softness and practical dive-watch utility, with lyre-shaped lugs and a unidirectional bezel framing the design. A domed glassbox sapphire crystal reinforces the retro profile. Around the back, the watch is fitted with a screw-down caseback. Combined with the screw-down crown, this gives the watch a water-resistance rating of 200 metres.

One of the most noticeable updates appears on the dial. Doxa introduces the SUB 200 II in black, grey, blue, green, and Redcoral, with a fumé sunburst dials that darken toward the outer edge. This marks a new direction for the collection and gives the watch a stronger sense of depth than earlier versions. The hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, with an off-white tone used on the standard models to support the vintage-inspired atmosphere, while the Redcoral edition switches to bright white luminous material for a crisper, higher-contrast appearance. At 3 o’clock, the dial includes a date window, and the overall layout remains straightforward, with central hours, minutes, and seconds.

The watch is powered by the Sellita SW200 automatic movement. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 38 hours. Doxa offers the watch on either a Milanese mesh bracelet or a textured rubber strap. On the Redcoral model, the bracelet is also finished in black DLC to match the case.

The SUB 200 II joins the permanent collection as the next evolution of one of Doxa’s most commercially important modern dive watches. The price is set at CHF 1,450, approximately AED 6,800, on the bracelet, and CHF 1,390, approximately AED 6,500, on the rubber strap.
