Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A limited edition created for its Italian retailer Gioielleria Grande
Doxa is built around watches designed with genuine underwater utility in mind, and over the decades, the SUB line has become central to that legacy. Even when Doxa softens the formula or explores a more lifestyle-oriented interpretation, it rarely loses sight of the qualities that made its name matter in the first place: clarity, toughness, and a design language with real purpose behind it.

That is part of what makes the SUB 200 such an appealing watch within the current collection. It channels the spirit of the brand’s historic dive watches from the 1960s, but does so in a way that feels more versatile and easier to wear day to day. It still looks and feels like a proper SUB, but with a slightly more compact profile.

With its latest release, the brand introduces the SUB 200 Grande Roma, created in collaboration with its Roman retailer Gioielleria Grande and marking the first SUB special series dedicated to Italy.

The case is made of 316L stainless steel and measures 42 mm in diameter. It has the solid, straightforward presence you would expect from a Doxa dive watch, and the overall execution stays faithful to the SUB 200 formula. A domed box sapphire crystal sits above the dial, framed by a unidirectional rotating bezel. Around the back, the watch features a screw-down stainless steel caseback engraved with the historic Colosseum, the largest standing amphitheatre in the world and one of the most recognizable landmarks in the centre of Rome. The case offers water resistance of 200 meters.

The dial comes in a black gradient finish, and the hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, as are the applied indices and outer minute track, so legibility remains a clear priority. The display itself is simple and familiar, with central hours, minutes, and seconds, alongside a date window at 3 o’clock.

Inside is the Sellita SW200, a Swiss automatic mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offering a 38-hour power reserve.

The watch comes on the brand’s stainless steel beads-of-rice bracelet, complete with a folding clasp and diving extension. Also included in the box is a brown NATO strap with a stainless steel pin buckle. The watch is limited to 50 individually numbered pieces and priced at EUR 1,590, approximately AED 6,800.
