Delma brings back its iconic Midland collection with a 1980s Style
Delma is a Swiss watch brand that crafts reliable and functional timepieces at affordable prices. Its rich history dates back to 1924, when it was founded in Lengnau, near Grenchen in Switzerland, by the brothers Adolf and Albert Gilomen. In 1946, the brand demonstrated its expertise in sports timepieces with the launch of its first chronograph, the Midland. By the 1980s, the Midland collection had become one of the brand's most iconic releases, expanding over the years to include both chronographs and simple three-hand models.
After Delma celebrated its 100th anniversary this year with a beautiful tourbillon watch, the brand is now releasing the “Delma Midland Automatic” watch, based on a model from the 1980s with a modern twist.
The watch comes in a stainless steel case, measuring 40.5mm in diameter and 10.8mm in thickness. The tonneau case combines a mix of brushed and polished finishes and includes a fluted bezel that adds a classic appeal. The sapphire crystal is coated with an anti-reflective treatment, and the watch also boasts a see-through caseback.

The dial showcases a beautiful clou de Paris pattern with six new color options: white, black, salmon, evergreen, royal blue, and ice blue. It also features applied baton indexes and hands coated with Super-LumiNova, and a date window positioned at 3 o’clock.

The watch is powered by the Sellita Caliber SW200-1, an automatic movement that operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a 41-hour power reserve. The new Delma Midland Automatic comes with a brushed and polished integrated stainless-steel bracelet with a folding clasp and is priced at CHF 1,100, equivalent to AED 4,600.
