Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A stunning release featuring a yellow hue achieved through thermal oxidation
The DB28 collection has long stood as a symbol of De Bethune’s philosophy. Recognized for its futuristic floating lugs, mirror-polished titanium cases, and intricate dial architecture, it perfectly embodies the brand’s vision of contemporary haute horlogerie. Over the years, it has given rise to remarkable creations such as the Kind of Blue Tourbillon, Steel Wheels Tourbillon, and Kind of Blue Tourbillon Sapphire. Now, this design language takes a new step forward with the DB28xs Yellow Tones, a 39 mm masterpiece featuring a radiant yellow hue achieved through thermal oxidation.
The new watch introduces a refined titanium case that strikes an ideal balance between size and comfort. Through an intricate process of thermal oxidation, the metal transforms into vivid yellow-gold hues. The smooth contours and symmetrical proportions of the case reflect De Bethune’s ongoing pursuit of visual harmony. As always, the Maison’s patented floating lug system ensures exceptional ergonomics, adapting seamlessly to any wrist.
A sapphire crystal caseback reveals the beauty of the in-house movement within. Every bridge, screw, and component is finished to perfection, offering a glimpse into De Bethune’s extraordinary craftsmanship.
The dial embodies the theme of transformation through color. Layers of titanium shimmer in gradients of yellow, gold, and amber, capturing light in a way that feels alive. The signature delta-shaped bridge dominates the center, while the polished hands glide gracefully across this landscape of warmth and depth.
Inside beats the Calibre DB2115V14, a hand-wound movement entirely designed and crafted in-house. It features twin barrels that provide an impressive 6-day power reserve, regulated by the brand’s signature balance wheel and silicon escapement technology. The bridges echo the same golden tones as the exterior, creating a cohesive aesthetic that flows from inside to out.
The watch is paired with a brown leather strap secured by a titanium pin buckle that matches the yellow tones of the case. The price is available upon request.
