Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A dual-sided creation that fuses technical mastery with contemporary design
Independent Swiss watchmaker De Bethune has long stood at the forefront of modern haute horlogerie, combining inventive engineering with artistic expression. Since its founding, the brand has consistently pursued innovation in materials, mechanics and decorative techniques. This philosophy has shaped some of the most distinctive timepieces of the contemporary era, each carrying the unmistakable De Bethune signature. Within this spirit of forward-thinking craftsmanship, the Maison continues its exploration of duality through the Kind of Two line, a collection that unites two identities within a single watch.
The latest addition to this family is the DB Kind of Two Jumping GMT, a fully reversible timepiece with two independent dials and one movement. It presents a contemporary face on one side and a classically inspired aesthetic on the other while offering intuitive dual-time functionality.

The watch features a functional and visually striking case measuring 43 mm, crafted in polished Grade 5 titanium. The case integrates De Bethune’s signature floating lugs, developed specifically for this model to ensure perfect comfort and adaptability on the wrist. These articulated lugs also facilitate the smooth rotation of the case, allowing the wearer to switch between the two dials with ease. The construction consists of 42 components made from resilient materials such as surgical steel and titanium, engineered to resist moisture, temperature changes and the demands of daily wear.

The front dial reveals a modern and architectural composition that highlights the sophistication of the movement. It displays the time around a minute track on the outer rim, with the balance wheel positioned at 6 o’clock. Fine decorative work, including micro-light, shot-peened and snailed finishes, enhances the depth and layered structure of the dial. The hours and minutes are indicated by polished blued steel hands with satin-brushed steel inlays. This side also integrates a jumping seconds mechanism and a GMT function, presented through two central gold wheels beneath a deltoid-shaped titanium bridge.
The reverse dial adopts a traditional expression of timekeeping with a domed anthracite finish and a guilloché center. Manually polished 5N gold hands sweep over gilded hour markers, creating a refined contrast. A polished titanium indicator marks the mechanical seconds jump, offering a subtle reminder of the watch’s technical complexity.

The watch operates with a single in-house hand-wound movement, the caliber DB2517, which powers both dials. A sophisticated system of gears and pinions ensures that the hands always rotate clockwise regardless of which side is displayed. The movement operates at a frequency of 36,000 vph (5 Hz) and offers a power reserve of four days.
The watch is fitted with a supple alligator leather strap with a soft lining, and the price is available upon request.
