A limited jumping hour piece to mark a decade after its revival
To mark its 10th anniversary, Czapek presents the Time Jumper, a timepiece that captures its spirit of innovation while paying tribute to its origins. Inspired by Czapek’s historic pocket watches, the Time Jumper reimagines the concept through a futuristic lens. The watch is built around the new in-house Calibre 10.01 and showcases a jumping hour display on a 24-hour register, complemented by trailing minutes on a rotating peripheral ring.

The watch is housed in a 40.5 mm case available in either stainless steel with a white gold guilloché inlay or 3N 18-carat yellow gold. It measures 10.5 mm in height without the magnifying crystal and 12.35 mm with it. The handmade three-dimensional guilloché pattern on the half-hunter cover creates the optical illusion of a black hole, drawing the eye toward the loupe in the center that reveals the jumping hour display beneath. The cover opens via a pusher at 6 o’clock, unveiling the open-worked dial protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
The sapphire crystal caseback provides a clear view of the movement. Both the front and back feature anti-reflective coating, and the watch offers water resistance up to 30 meters.

The jumping hours are displayed on two sapphire discs, one for single digits and another for tens, while the minutes are indicated on a rotating outer ring. The design omits traditional hands in favor of this clean mechanical display. The guilloché pattern and loupe aperture add depth and visual intrigue, while the luminous accents enhance legibility in low light.

At the heart of the watch lies the automatic Calibre 10.01, entirely conceived, designed, and assembled in-house by Czapek. The movement contains 275 components and 44 jewels, with a recycled platinum rotor beating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and delivers a power reserve of 60 hours on a single barrel.

The watch is paired with a blue rubber strap that complements its contemporary aesthetic. It measures 19 mm between the lugs and closes with an 18 mm pin buckle matching the case material.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary and the 180th year since the brand’s founding, Czapek will produce 180 movements in total. The Time Jumper is offered as a limited edition of 100 pieces in stainless steel and 30 pieces in 3N 18-carat yellow gold, with 10 bespoke creations available by order through the Czapek boutique in Geneva. The watch is priced at CHF 42,000, approximately AED 192,150 in stainless steel, and CHF 64,000, approximately AED 292,800 in yellow gold.
