The innovative double independent chronograph, with orange & green accents
Cyrus emerged from the visionary spirit of a distinguished Swiss entrepreneurial family steeped in the heritage of crafting world-renowned luxury brands. Fueled by their profound expertise in luxury and a passion for haute horlogerie, the family founded the independent Swiss watchmaking brand “Cyrus Genève” in Le Locle, Switzerland in 2010. In pursuit of their vision for top-tier watchmaking, CYRUS collaborates with Jean-Francois Mojon, a Swiss watchmaker, whose brilliance has left a mark on contemporary horology.

In 2021, CYRUS Genève, unveiled the Klepcys DICE, introducing a Double Independent Chronograph. This innovative timepiece marked a significant milestone in modern chronography, featuring two hands designed to track the time of two events that commence simultaneously but conclude at different intervals. CYRUS now presents a refreshing iteration of its iconic model with the introduction of the new KLEPCYS DICE SAFFRON, featuring the iconic cushion-shaped case with two crowns, and shades of saffron orange and green.

The polished & brushed grade 5 titanium case is crafted from 26 individual components, with a diameter of 42 mm, excluding the crowns, and a thickness of 16.5 mm, it exudes a blend of form and function. The orange crown at 3 o'clock serves a dual purpose: position 1 for winding the movement and position 2 for adjusting the time, coupled with a pusher for activating chronograph No. 1 (start-stop-reset). Positioned at 9 o'clock, the second crown in green, it features a pusher dedicated to activating chronograph No. 2 (start-stop-reset). The sapphire crystal on the dial side boasts anti-reflective treatment on both surfaces, offering clarity and visibility. The case back, also crafted from sapphire crystal, is sealed with custom screws bearing the Cyrus logo and features the engravings of its limitation "Limited Edition ONE of 50”. With a water resistance of 100 m.

The 3D open-worked dial of this exceptional timepiece is a testament to craftsmanship and attention to detail. The sapphire crystal hour ring boasts beveled and polished edges, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The Arabic numerals are adorned with white Super-LumiNova, emitting a blue glow, ensuring readability even in low-light conditions. The minute markers on the black PVD flange, treated with white Super-LumiNova and emitting a blue glow as well, further contribute to the dial's legibility. The flange is designed with a double scale corresponding to the chronograph in orange and green, adding a touch of vibrancy and functionality. The open-worked hour and minute hands are rhodium-plated with polished edges and treated with white Super-LumiNova. Positioned at 9 o'clock is the small seconds counter, featuring anti-reflective smoked sapphire crystal glass with an orange profile, complemented by lacquered Arabic numerals at 15-second intervals and a microblasted rhodium-plated ring with a helix-shaped small seconds hand that features a luminescent tip in white Super-LumiNova. The 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, with anti-reflective smoked sapphire crystal glass, markers at 5-minute intervals, and two hands in orange and green, offers double indications at 15/30 minutes in corresponding colors for the two independent chronographs. The central chronograph seconds hands, in orange with a reset at 12 o'clock, and green with a reset at 6 o'clock, provide a distinctive visual element. The bridges over the chronograph counter and small seconds showcase an orange lacquer profile, emphasizing the watch's unique design. The Lacquered column wheels in orange at 12 o'clock and green at 6 o'clock contribute to the overall aesthetic coherence of this timepiece.

The Manufacture self-winding movement, calibre CYR718, comprises a total of 443 components, with 218 dedicated to the chronograph module. Its movement operates at a frequency of 28,800vph (4 Hz), with 55 hours of power reserve. The movement features a rhodium-plated barrel with a snailed ratchet wheel, adorned with the Cyrus logo and inscription filled with black lacquer, adding a touch of sophistication. The bridges are treated with gray anthracite NAC galvanic treatment, and showcase a decorative embossed sunray pattern with satin and microbeaded finishing. Adding to its aesthetic appeal, the movement boasts an open-worked monobloc rotor with a sunray pattern, intricately engraved with "The Conquest of Innovation”, while the open-worked central medallion displays the Cyrus helix logo in 18K 4N gold, emphasizing the brand's commitment to innovation and artistry. The timepiece comes with an orange cordura fabric strap with grade 5 titanium folding clasp, or an Integrated bracelet in brushed grade 5 titanium with polished central hexagonal links.
