A new chapter for the Tsuyosa collision with fresh dials & upgraded movement
In 2022, Citizen unveiled the Tsuyosa collection, a 1980s-inspired integrated-bracelet sports watch that quickly became a commercial success and a gateway into mechanical timepieces for many new enthusiasts. Now, during Geneva Watch Days 2025, the brand presents the Tsuyosa 60 Automatic, an evolution that enhances both design and performance.

The watch retains the collection’s familiar barrel-shaped profile, measuring 40 mm in diameter and 11.7 mm in thickness. Crafted from stainless steel, it is also offered in a bi-colour version with yellow-gold accents and a full rose-gold-coated edition. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, complete with a magnifying lens over the date, while the crown remains tucked discreetly at 4 o’clock. The exhibition caseback is fitted with mineral glass, and water resistance is rated at 50 meters.

The dial now features a textured finish and comes in three colourways, black paired with the steel case, green for the yellow-gold edition, and blue for the rose-gold model. Applied indices and baton-style hands, all luminous, ensure legibility, while the date sits at 3 o’clock.

Inside, Citizen replaces the previous Calibre 8210 with the new Calibre 8310. This automatic movement runs at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and offers a significantly extended 60-hour power reserve, up from 40 hours. Beyond the technical upgrade, the calibre is more visually refined, with silver-toned bridges, blued screws, and an openworked rotor with striped finishing.
Another key update is the bracelet, the original three-link design has been replaced with a more intricate five-link Jubilee-style bracelet, secured by a concealed butterfly clasp.
The Tsuyosa 60 Automatic joins the permanent collection. Pricing is set at EUR 379 (approximately AED 1,640) for the black model, EUR 399 (approximately AED 1,730) for the green edition, and EUR 429 (approximately AED 1,860) for the blue dial variant.
