Two new automatic releases in a fresh array of hues
Citizen introduces two new releases for 2026, expanding its accessible mechanical offering with the NJ0210 and NJ022. While both watches share the same in-house automatic movement, each follows a distinct stylistic direction. The NJ0210 leans toward classic, everyday versatility, while the NJ022 adopts a sportier, dive-inspired profile.

The NJ0210 is positioned as a refined daily automatic watch, designed to transition easily between formal and casual settings. Its stainless steel case measures 40 mm in diameter with a thickness of 13.02 mm, offering balanced proportions that sit comfortably on a wide range of wrists. The watch features a transparent caseback and provides water resistance rated at 50 meters. A mineral crystal protects the front and back sides.

The dial is offered in white, black, or blue. Each version features Arabic numerals, polished hands, and a clean, straightforward layout focused on legibility, with a date window positioned at 3 o’clock.

Powering the watch is Citizen’s in-house automatic calibre 8210. The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 40 hours. Depending on the reference, the NJ0210 is paired with either a leather strap secured by a pin buckle or a stainless steel bracelet fitted with a folding safety clasp. The watch joins the permanent collection, with pricing set at €229 (approximately AED 990) on a leather strap and €279 (approximately AED 1,200) on a stainless steel bracelet.

The NJ022 takes a more athletic approach, drawing inspiration from dive-style watches while remaining firmly positioned as an everyday sports model. Its stainless steel case measures 38.5 mm in diameter with a thickness of 11.52 mm, resulting in a more compact and streamlined profile compared to the NJ0210. The watch is fitted with a fixed bezel featuring a 60-minute scale and a mineral crystal, and offers water resistance rated at 100 meters.

The dial is available in black, green, or silver-toned finishes, each paired with a grained texture with a date window positioned at 3 o’clock. The hands and applied indices are coated with luminescent material to ensure clear visibility in low-light conditions.
Powering the watch is the same automatic calibre 8210, operating at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) with a power reserve of 40 hours. Strap options vary by reference, with versions available on stainless steel bracelets fitted with folding clasps or on urethane straps secured by pin buckles. The NJ022 also joins the permanent collection, priced at €239 (approximately AED 1,050) on strap and €249 (approximately AED 1,080) on bracelet.
