Inspired by the Energy and Aesthetics of Japanese Urban Life
Citizen continues to evolve, reflecting its deep connection to the urban landscapes and vibrant culture of Japan. The brand introduces three new models from its series 8 collection, each inspired by distinct urban scenes. The NB6035-55H evokes the tranquil beauty of a snowy night, symbolizing city lights reflecting off fallen snow. Meanwhile, the NB6060-58H captures the quiet strength of skyscrapers awaiting dawn. Finally, the NB6062-52P reflects the bustling energy of the city at night. Together, these timepieces embody both the daytime and nighttime faces of Japan’s cities, blending innovation with traditional craftsmanship.
The NB6035-55H features a 41mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 13.5mm, enhanced by a grey and yellow gold color plating. Its robust design includes a rotating bezel with a 24-hour track, ideal for calculating a second time zone, gradient transitioning from white to black with elegant gold accents. This model boasts a water resistance of 200 meters and is protected by sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating, along with a transparent case back for a view of its intricate movement.
In contrast, the NB6062-52P and NB6060-58H share a similar case size of 42.6mm in diameter and 11.7mm in thickness, crafted from stainless steel. The NB6062-52P features yellow gold plating, while the NB6060-58H retains its sleek steel finish. Both cases offer 200 meters of water resistance, sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating, and a transparent case back, ensuring durability and clarity.
The dial of the NB6035-55H showcases a gradient that fades from white to black, representing the contrast between snow and city lights, with gold accents on the indices. The NB6060-58H dial features a sleek geometric pattern in polished silver, exuding calm and sophistication, while the NB6062-52P offers a similar design with rich gold tones, adding a touch of refinement. All three models share key features, including a date window at 3 o'clock, a printed black or white minute track along the edges, and Super-LumiNova coating on the hands and indices for improved legibility in different lighting conditions.
The watches are powered by high-precision movements that ensure both reliability and performance. The NB6035-55H is equipped with the Calibre 9054 movement, offering a power reserve of approximately 50 hours when fully wound, along with a GMT function for tracking multiple time zones.
Both the NB6062-52P and NB6060-58H feature the Calibre 9051 movement, providing a power reserve of around 42 hours when fully wound. All models offer both automatic and manual winding capabilities, with an accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds per day and a frequency of 28,800 vph. Additionally, they include a stop-second function for precise time-setting.
