A bold return of the classic Digiteur, reimagined for the modern mechanical era
Chronoswiss was founded in 1983 at the height of the quartz crisis and gained attention precisely because it specialized exclusively in traditional mechanical watches at a time when much of the industry was focused on quartz technology. Among its most distinctive creations was the Digiteur, introduced in 2005, a fully mechanical digital wristwatch that stood out for its unconventional design and use of jumping-hour technology.
Twenty years later, Chronoswiss revisits this creation with the Neo Digiteur, re-engineering the concept with modern materials, refined architecture, and in-house technical innovation. The design draws inspiration from the early twentieth-century jumping-hour wristwatches of the 1920s and 1930s.
The watch is housed in a rectangular stainless-steel case measuring 48 mm in length and 30 mm in width, with a slim height of 9.7 mm. A sandblasted horizontal segment on the case side contrasts with the vertically brushed surfaces and polished edges, adding depth and character. A double-coated sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a sapphire caseback reveals the movement within. The case also features the brand’s signature onion-style crown, flattened for enhanced comfort.
Time is displayed through three precisely cut apertures: a jumping hour at 12 o’clock, minutes at the center, and sweeping seconds at 6 o’clock. Two color variations are available. The Neo Digiteur Granit features an anthracite dial with vertical satin finishing and minimalist deep-blue numerals, while the Neo Digiteur Sand presents a 4N sandblasted dial with elegant deep-blue glossy numerals.
Inside beats the new hand-wound Chronoswiss Caliber C.85757, operating at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and offering a 48-hour power reserve. The movement integrates an in-house developed jumping-hour module that manages the energy demands of the instantaneous hour jump while ensuring a smooth flow of minutes and seconds. Finishing details include hand-guilloché bridges, gold-plated and rhodium-plated components, and Côtes de Genève decoration visible through the sapphire back.

The watch is paired with a black nubuck leather strap, secured by a stainless-steel pin buckle engraved with the legacy Chronoswiss logo. Both the Granit and Sand models are limited to 99 pieces each, and the price is CHF 12,500, approximately AED 57,000.
