The Strike Two features a dial inspired by the rich history and natural beauty of our region
Chronoswiss introduces the Strike Two Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition, an ultra-exclusive timepiece created in collaboration with its long-standing partner Ahmed Seddiqi, the leading luxury watch and jewelry retailer in the UAE. Limited to just 12 pieces, this celebratory edition pays tribute to the shared pursuit of horological excellence while honoring the cultural richness of the Middle East.
Building on the success of the Strike Two collection, this anniversary model preserves the distinctive horizontal regulator layout, first inspired by the pioneering Chronoswiss Tora of the 1990s. The dial, however, is unlike anything seen before: a uniquely CVD-coated, laser-engraved surface presented in a custom sand tone, chosen to reflect Ahmed Seddiqi’s heritage. The color embodies elegance, prosperity, and timeless legacy.
The watch is housed in a 40mm stainless steel case, crafted from 17 individual components and measuring a slim 12.7mm in height. Signature Chronoswiss details include the onion crown, elongated hollowed lugs, and a fluted caseband. A polished bezel and domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating complete the refined exterior, while a sapphire caseback offers a clear view of the movement. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters.
For this special edition, Chronoswiss has opted for a sand-colored dial base, laser-engraved and CVD-coated for depth and texture. The regulator display features an hour subdial at 3 o’clock, designed with open gearing and secured by two vertical bridges. The central minute hand and small seconds at 9 o’clock complete the balanced layout. Indices and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova for optimal legibility in low light, while the blued hands and screws provide a vivid contrast against the golden base plate and silver subdials. A minute track, marked by alternating black dots and white dashes, ensures precise time reading.
Arabic numerals on the hour and small-seconds rings reinforce the cultural connection, while the hand-guilloché seconds subdial at 9 o’clock highlights artisanal craftsmanship, engraved line by line in the Chronoswiss Atelier in Lucerne. Every detail, from the three-dimensional architecture to the carefully selected color palette, underscores the partnership between the two companies.
Under the sapphire crystal caseback lies the Manufacture Caliber C.6000, the movement powering the Strike Two collection, developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret. This automatic movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers an impressive power reserve of 55 hours. It features a ruthenium-coated tungsten rotor and is adorned with a radial Côtes de Genève pattern.
The Chronoswiss Strike Two Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition is paired with a calfskin strap featuring an alligator embossing and secured by a stainless steel pin buckle. Limited to just 12 pieces, it is available exclusively through Ahmed Seddiqi boutiques. Priced at 45,000 AED.
