Introducing Christopher Ward Launches the C60 Trident Reef

Christopher Ward is known for merging British design with Swiss precision, a formula that has proven especially successful in the diver segment. One of the brand’s best-selling collections, the C60 Trident, has undergone multiple evolutions over the years. This year’s update, the C60 Trident Reef, introduces new colours and sizes.

The new Reef models bring both visual and structural changes to the collection, most notably the introduction of a 44mm case alongside the existing 41mm option, a first for the Trident line. It’s a move that broadens the collection’s appeal and caters to those who prefer a larger dive watch.

Crafted from stainless steel, the case is available in 41mm or 44mm diameters, with a slim 11.45mm thickness and lug-to-lug lengths of 47.9mm and 51.4mm, respectively. The design includes matte aluminium or ceramic shrouds and a curved sapphire crystal, ensuring durability and excellent legibility under pressure. A sapphire exhibition caseback reveals the movement while maintaining a 200-meter water resistance rating.

The dial comes in five marine-inspired colours, Acro White, Chalice Yellow, Helio Blue, Galaxea Black, and Tuba Orange. Each features a semi-transparent lacquer finish layered over a lightly sandblasted texture. The twin-flags logo, hands, and indices are all colour-matched and coated with C1 BL Grade X1 Super-LumiNova for optimal legibility in low-light conditions. A colour-matched 120-click unidirectional bezel completes the set.

Inside, the watch is powered by the Sellita SW200-1, an automatic movement operating at 28,800 vph (4Hz), with a 38-hour power reserve. Buyers can choose between a colour-matched FKM Aquaflex rubber strap with a pin buckle or a three-link stainless steel bracelet equipped with a Bader clasp and push-button micro-adjustment system.

The watch joins the permanent collection, with prices starting at £695 (approximately AED 3,500) on the rubber strap and £850 (approximately AED 4,200) on the bracelet. Notably, 2% of all sales will be donated to the Blue Marine Foundation to restore oceans.
