The first skeletonized watch in the Twelve collection
Christopher Ward is a UK-based brand established in 2004, the brand offers good-quality, Swiss-made mechanical watches at reasonable prices. They also created the Caliber SH21, the first commercially available mechanical watch movement by a British watch brand in over 50 years.
Now, the brand unveils The Twelve X, a new skeletonized titanium timepiece featuring the company's proprietary movement, Caliber SH21. This latest release is part of the successful integrated bracelet series introduced in 2023, and joining other skeletonized models like the GPHG “Petite Aiguille” winner, the C1 Bel Canto.

The Twelve X has been launched to mark two milestones Christopher Ward is celebrating the company's 20th anniversary and a decade since the Caliber SH21 was first produced. The Twelve X is the first model in the Twelve series to be powered by the brand's in-house automatic COSC certified movement. It is also the first to use both Grade 5 and Grade 2 titanium in its case. Additionally, The Twelve X is the inaugural version in the Twelve collection to be fully skeletonized, eliminating the conventional dial to showcase the mechanical movement's inner workings from the front of the watch.
The watch measures 41mm in diameter, 12.30mm in thickness, and weighs only 51g. The case has been polished, brushed, and sandblasted. The Twelve X also features box crystals at the front and rear, reducing the perceived case height by over two millimeters. The dial is encircled by a rhodium ring along the outer edge, featuring an applied luminous Globolight marker at the 12 o'clock position. The movement operates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with an accuracy of -4/+6 seconds per day and offers 120 hours of power reserve.
The watch is available with either an integrated titanium bracelet, priced at £4,120 (equivalent to AED 19,000), or a black rubber strap, priced at £3,750 (equivalent to AED 17,500).
