An Integrated Rubber Strap Makes Its Debut in the Alpine Eagle Collection
Chopard breathes fresh coastal air into its Alpine Eagle collection with the introduction of the Alpine Eagle 41 Beach Edition. This vibrant new release infuses the brand’s signature sport-luxury aesthetic with a casual, summer-ready spirit. Offered in two bold and refreshing colorways, this duo marks a playful departure from the collection’s usual alpine inspirations, trading snow-capped peaks for sun-soaked shores.
Earlier this year, Chopard expanded the Alpine Eagle line with five new references. Now, the maison continues its creative momentum with this summer-celebrating edition.
The two inaugural models of the Beach Edition are distinguished by their vibrant color themes: “Rock Jasmine Pink” and “Maritime Blue”. These are the first Alpine Eagle 41mm timepieces to be fitted with integrated rubber straps, tone-matched to their respective dials, offering a fresh and relaxed take on the design.
Crafted from Chopard’s proprietary Lucent Steel™, the 41mm case boasts superior brightness and durability compared to traditional stainless steel, all while emphasizing sustainability in its production. It retains the iconic Alpine Eagle silhouette with its round bezel set with eight functional screws, pronounced crown guards, and a sleek integrated design. The combination of brushed and polished finishes lends the case a dynamic visual appeal, underlining its refined yet robust nature.
One of the highlights is the engraved crown with fluted edges, offering excellent grip and ease of use. The compass rose motif on the crown is a nod to the watch’s adventurous spirit and ties it to the collection’s theme of modern exploration.
The dials are equally striking: “Rock Jasmine Pink”, a vivid, energetic pink, and “Maritime Blue”, a bright turquoise inspired by coastal waters. Both feature the signature “eagle iris” pattern, a textured motif that evokes the intense gaze of an eagle. Color-matched date windows integrate seamlessly into the design.
Rhodium-plated Roman numerals at 12, 6, and 9 o’clock bring a classic touch, while the applied hour markers and hands, filled with Super-LumiNova, ensure legibility even in low-light conditions. The seconds hand is finished with a feather-shaped counterweight, a subtle yet elegant detail referencing the collection’s avian muse.

Powering the Beach Edition is the Chopard Calibre 01.01-C, an in-house automatic movement visible through the sapphire caseback. This COSC-certified chronometer operates at 4 Hz and offers a robust 60-hour power reserve, reinforcing the watch’s practical and high-performance credentials.
Completing the look are the integrated rubber straps, a first for the 41mm Alpine Eagle models, secured with pin buckles and color-coordinated to the dials. Though not limited editions, both versions bring a refreshing seasonal twist to the collection.
The Alpine Eagle 41 Beach Edition is priced at USD 13,100, or approximately AED 48,200.
