Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A refined and feature-rich release from the French independent brand
Charlie Paris represents a new generation of independent French watch brands focused on accessible mechanical watchmaking, contemporary design, and practical functionality. Over the past decade, the brand has steadily built a reputation for offering well-balanced watches that combine modern aesthetics with everyday usability, positioning itself as a serious contender in the entry-level mechanical segment.

The Initial collection reflects this philosophy through multi-function automatic watches designed for daily wear while maintaining a refined character. This year, the brand expands the lineup with the Initial Day/Night Panda, one of the most distinctive executions to date, pairing three complications with a bold visual identity.

The watch is housed in a stainless steel case measuring 40 mm in diameter with a thickness of 11 mm. Polished surfaces are contrasted by brushed sides, creating a subtle interplay of textures that enhances the overall refinement. A sapphire exhibition caseback reveals the movement inside, while water resistance is rated at 30 meters.

The dial is finished in white with a lightly textured surface and accented by blue elements. A blue chapter ring frames the dial, while a matching blue sub-dial at 6 o’clock displays the day-and-night indication, illustrated with sun, moon, and star motifs. A power-reserve indicator is positioned at 12 o’clock, and a date window appears at 3 o’clock. Time is indicated by applied silver indices and spear-shaped silver hands.

Powering the watch is the Miyota 9132 automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offering a power reserve of 40 hours. The model is available with several interchangeable strap options, including leather and Milanese mesh, as well as a stainless steel three-link bracelet featuring polished center links. The watch is part of the permanent collection and is priced at EUR 685, equivalent to AED 3,131.
