Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
Gold and marble dress the iconic Bvlgari Bvlgari collection
From pioneering Art Deco jewelry in the 1930s to redefining colored gemstone design in the 1960s, the Roman jeweler Bvlgari has long pushed the boundaries of luxury. Although it had been crafting timepieces since the 1920s, it was the launch of the Bvlgari Bvlgari watch in the 1970s that marked a new era, melding horology with jewelry and fashion in unprecedented ways.
Originally conceived as a gift for top clients in 1975 and redesigned by Gérald Genta in 1977, the Bvlgari Bvlgari featured a bezel boldly engraved with the brand’s name, evocative of ancient Roman coins. The watch quickly became an icon of Italian design. Fifty years later, the Bvlgari Bvlgari is reborn, this time in marble.

To mark the collection’s 50th anniversary, Bvlgari unveils four commemorative models, two of which stand out in 38 mm gold cases: one in yellow gold and the other in rose gold. The yellow gold version features a striking “Verde Alpi” green marble dial, while the rose gold model is adorned with a deep “Blu Incanto” blue marble dial.
Each watch is finished with a personalized caseback engraved with a special 50th-anniversary marking. The yellow gold model offers 50 meters of water resistance, while the rose gold version is rated to 30 meters.
The marble dials are the centerpiece of these editions. Rich in natural veining and texture, each dial is inherently unique. “Verde Alpi” presents a green hue that contrasts beautifully with the warm gold case, while “Blu Incanto” lends an elegant depth in blue. Both dials feature polished golden hour markers and hands.

Powering the two 38 mm models is the Solotempo BVL 191, Bvlgari’s in-house automatic movement. Operating at 28,800 vph (4Hz), it offers a 42-hour power reserve. The smaller 26 mm variants, however, are equipped with a quartz movement.
The yellow gold model is paired with a dark green strap, while the rose gold version comes with a rich blue strap. Both are secured with matching gold pin buckles. Each of the four references released for the 50th anniversary is limited to just 150 pieces, with prices available upon request.
