Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster guitar

These two iconic Maisons have naturally united around their passion for creating unique objects. Bvlgari and Fender Custom Shop celebrate BVLGARI Aluminium and the Stratocaster, two timeless design icons that have become cultural symbols, in homage to the 70th anniversary of the legendary Stratocaster. anf for this occasion they unveils a limited edition timepieces inspired from the original colors of this iconic guitar. To mark this 70th anniversary, Bvlgari has created a special BVLGARI Aluminium GMT x Fender® Limited Edition set, and Fender Custom Shop has crafted a limited series of just 70 Fender® Custom Shop Limited Edition Bulgari Stratocaster® guitars
The Bvlgari Aluminium GMT x Fender Limited Edition features an aluminum case with a DLC treatment, a brown rubber bezel, and a titanium crown with DLC coating. With a diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 9.6 mm, it offers water resistance up to 100 meters. The ‘Fender®’ inscription engraved on the DLC-coated titanium case back adds a unique touch to this timepiece.
The dial features a sunburst finish, a nod to one of Fender’s signature lacquered looks. The second time zone inner ring comes with dark brown for nighttime and creamy white for daytime hours. The rhodium-plated and polished indices and hands, reminiscent of guitar frets, attune the Bvlgari Aluminium GMT to the legendary Stratocaster. Arabic numerals are positioned at 12 and 6 o'clock, and the date aperture is at 3 o'clock.
The Bvlgari Aluminium GMT watch is equipped with an automatic movement, the B192 caliber, used in the latest GMT edition launched this year. Featuring GMT 24-hour functions and a power reserve of 42 hours, it operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The watch comes with a dark brown articulated rubber bracelet with aluminum links and a Velcro strap. This collaboration is limited to only 1,200 timepieces. Priced at EUR 4,600 / 18,700 AED.
