Introducing Bremont Unveils the Supermarine Full Ceramic Polar White

Bremont continues to expand its diving watch portfolio, unveiling the latest addition to its Supermarine collection, an impressive showcase of the English brand’s ambition to craft high-end tool watches for the most demanding environments.

For this new timepiece, Bremont utilises a full ceramic case paired with a refined, highly legible white dial, the same striking dial recently introduced in the new steel edition. Presented in a monochromatic aesthetic, the watch combines cutting-edge materials with the Supermarine’s hallmark robustness, boasting 500 metres of water resistance, a titanium inner container, and a helium escape valve. 

This isn’t Bremont’s first venture into full-ceramic Supermarines, the inaugural editions in black and green were launched earlier in 2024.

The 43mm case stands as a testament to meticulous engineering and advanced manufacturing. It is crafted from a single monoblock of ceramic, starting with soft zirconium powder placed into a precision-engineered mould that is intentionally oversized by 23%. The transformation occurs during high-pressure sintering at an astonishing 1,450°C, a temperature capable of melting most industrial metals, causing the ceramic particles to fuse and densify, shrinking the case to its final dimensions. 

The process demands exacting precision, as even minor temperature variations could damage the pigments and alter the intended tactical black hue. The case is then finished with sandblasting, resulting in a uniform, non-reflective matte surface.

Complementing the ceramic case is a uni-directional titanium bezel with a knurled edge for enhanced grip, even with wet or gloved hands. The bezel insert, also crafted from ceramic, further enhances durability. Water resistance to 500 metres is ensured by a screw-down crown and a helium escape valve.

The solid titanium caseback, finished with black PVD coating, is engraved with a detailed world map centred on the oceans, a fitting tribute to the Supermarine’s deep-diving spirit and global exploration heritage.

The watch’s visual centrepiece is its 3D white wave-patterned dial, inspired by the ever-changing textures of the ocean. Applied indices and sword-style hands, coated with blue-emission Super-LumiNova, ensure excellent legibility in low-light conditions, while a date window at 3 o’clock adds practicality.

Inside beats Bremont’s automatic calibre BE-64AH, operating at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and delivering a 56-hour power reserve. The watch is offered with a black rubber chevron strap featuring a quick-release system, or a black-and-grey woven fabric NATO-style strap with self-gripping fastening, both secured with a stainless steel pin buckle.

Unlike the steel version, which is part of the permanent collection, the new ceramic Supermarine is limited to just 150 pieces. It is priced at GBP 6,450, approximately AED 32,100.
