Gerald Charles, the independent Swiss watchmaking Maison founded by the great Mr. Gérald Charles Genta, unveils its most complicated watch since its reestablishment less than a decade ago. The Masterlink Perpetual Calendar, developed entirely in-house, marks a new chapter for the young and ambitious Maison as it continues to expand its repertoire of poetic complications.

In keeping with Gerald Charles’s “No Compromise” watchmaking philosophy, established by Mr. Genta more than a quarter of a century ago, the Masterlink Perpetual Calendar introduces an in-house, asymmetrical, automatic perpetual calendar calibre with a three-counter display.

British watchmaker Bremont has partnered with its U.S. retail, Exquisite Timepieces, to unveil a bold new interpretation of its contemporary field watch. The Terra Nova 38 Exquisite Timepieces Limited Edition introduces a striking turquoise dial, the second color-centric 38mm model following last year’s vibrant pink release. Limited to just 100 pieces, this exclusive edition is available solely through Exquisite Timepieces in Florida.

The watch features a compact 38mm cushion-shaped case made from 904L stainless steel, its slim profile, coupled with tapered lugs, ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist. The two-piece satin and polished stainless steel case, with a 44mm case length and a thickness of just 10.7mm.

A domed, anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the closed case back is engraved with a unique charted map of the world and the inscription "Terra Nova." A push-in crown and 100m water resistance enhance the watch's versatility.

The blue turquoise dial features 3D numerals coated with white Super-LumiNova that emit a green glow for optimal visibility, complemented by rhodium-plated hands filled with the same luminescent material to ensure legibility in low light.

Along the edges of the dial, a dashed minute track is interspersed with triangular and circular hour markers, adding both a dynamic and functional touch. Above the hands, the brand name and logo are displayed in black, providing a minimalist finish to the watch.

The watch is powered by a modified Calibre BE-36AL automatic movement. The movement includes a Glucydur balance wheel and an Anachron balance spring, ensuring optimal performance. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), it boasts a 38 hour power reserve, making it both efficient and dependable.

It comes with a 904L stainless steel quick-release bracelet. This watch is a limited edition of 100 pieces exclusively through Exquisite Timepieces, and priced at USD 3,450 which is equivalent approximately to AED 12,670.
